Robinson Jungceylon
Situated in central Patong, Robinson Jungceylon is a mid-range shopping centre offering a broad mix of retail stores, casual dining, and entertainment across multiple floors. Its convenient location makes it a practical stop for tourists staying in or near Patong who want air-conditioned relief from the tropical heat, a meal, or everyday essentials alongside browsing international and local brands. The tax refund facility available on purchases adds practical value for international visitors. The atmosphere is relaxed and aimed at everyday shoppers rather than luxury seekers, drawing a mix of tourists and local residents. The centre functions as a department store-style retail destination rather than a boutique or market experience, so expectations should be set accordingly. Visitors have noted variability in staff attentiveness and service consistency, particularly around transactions and fitting room upkeep, so it is worth keeping a close eye on receipts and pricing at the point of sale. Good to know: Robinson Jungceylon is open every day from 11 AM to 10 PM, making it a flexible option for an afternoon or evening visit after time at Patong Beach. If paying by card for multiple items, confirm each transaction carefully before finalising payment. Arriving earlier in the day generally means fewer crowds, which is especially relevant during Phuket's peak tourist season between November and April.

Visitor Reviews
Located within The Botanica, this spot is perfect for tourists seeking higher quality options compared to the local markets. Plus, you can conveniently claim a tax refund directly on your purchases, making it an even more attractive destination. The only downside is that the prices are on the higher side. Hi! about 1 hour ago visited your garment section upstairs and found trial room very dirty, please instruct to your staff to keep clean rather than sitting,& chatting on phone, Thank you
I had been tricked by the cashier and end-up paying twice what I had purchased. Be careful especially when you buy multiple items. I used my credit card and after I put my PIN they said my transaction didn’t pass and also they forgot one item. I believe them, but in the end my credit card got both payments, there were 3 ladies there all working to do calculation but in the same time to confuse the client and distract it. It’s true in the e end is my fault that I put the cars pin twice - but I let you know in case you arrive in the same situation. Unfortunately because of the situation the beauty of that store and purchases been written off.

Haggle at Markets, Not Malls
Prices at market stalls are negotiable — start at 50–60% of the asking price and meet in the middle. Fixed-price shops and malls don't haggle. Smile and keep it friendly; aggressive bargaining is considered rude.
Arrive Early or Late
Vendors believe the first sale of the day is lucky — you'll often get a better deal if you arrive right when the market opens. Late in the evening, sellers may also discount to avoid packing unsold goods.
Be Cautious with Tailors
Bangkok has excellent tailors, but also many tourist traps. Avoid anyone offering suspiciously cheap suits or who approaches you on the street. Ask your hotel for recommendations, read reviews, and always get two fittings.
