The Bay Pattaya
The Bay Pattaya is a contemporary waterfront shopping centre located in the Nong Prue area of Bang Lamung, offering a relaxed alternative to Pattaya's busier commercial strips. The complex combines retail with a lively food and entertainment atmosphere, making it a popular gathering spot for both locals and visitors looking to unwind rather than simply shop. The real draw here is the atmosphere after dark. Visitors regularly highlight the vibrant lighting displays at night, a seafood-focused food street that runs through the complex, and live local bands that perform in the evenings, often drawing crowds who stay to dance and socialise. An outdoor beer garden provides a spacious setting to sit, eat, and take in the music, making it as much a social destination as a shopping one. During the day, the waterfront setting offers a quieter, more laid-back place to eat or grab a drink. Open every day from 08:00 to 23:00, The Bay is well-suited for an evening visit when the lights, food stalls, and live entertainment are in full swing. Those heading specifically for seafood or the night market atmosphere will get the most out of arriving from late afternoon onwards. The Facebook page listed on their profile is the best place to check for current vendor and event updates before visiting.

Visitor Reviews
This place is too colourful and the lights at night time is a treat to the eyes. If you just walk down you will find the food street where sea food is available. A must try for all the sea food lovers.

Great place to relax not only during the day, but also at night.

Tips for Visiting Markets & Shopping
Haggle at Markets, Not Malls
Prices at market stalls are negotiable — start at 50–60% of the asking price and meet in the middle. Fixed-price shops and malls don't haggle. Smile and keep it friendly; aggressive bargaining is considered rude.
Arrive Early or Late
Vendors believe the first sale of the day is lucky — you'll often get a better deal if you arrive right when the market opens. Late in the evening, sellers may also discount to avoid packing unsold goods.
Be Cautious with Tailors
Bangkok has excellent tailors, but also many tourist traps. Avoid anyone offering suspiciously cheap suits or who approaches you on the street. Ask your hotel for recommendations, read reviews, and always get two fittings.
