Central Krabi
Situated along Phet Kasem Road in the heart of Krabi town, this shopping centre stands out for its open-air, village-like layout that feels noticeably different from a conventional enclosed mall. Visitors frequently note the bright, well-organised design and the appealing mix of local shops, international brands, and a large Tops supermarket — making it equally useful for picking up groceries, souvenirs, and clothing all in one stop. A Miniso store and dedicated children's play area add to its appeal for families travelling with younger kids. The food and dining options are a particular highlight, ranging from Thai cuisine and local street-style food to familiar international chains such as KFC, alongside coffee shops and other casual eateries. Clean, well-maintained facilities throughout — including public toilets — contribute to the consistently positive visitor experience. The relaxed atmosphere makes it a comfortable place to spend a few hours browsing without feeling rushed. A practical note worth keeping in mind: because much of the complex has an open-air element, visiting during the cooler parts of the day — morning or evening — makes for a more comfortable experience, particularly in the warmer months. The central location on Phet Kasem Road makes it a convenient stop before heading out to the region's beaches or islands, or as an easy wind-down option after a day of exploring.

Visitor Reviews
I really enjoyed my visit to Central Krabi. The mall is bright, modern, and very well organized, with a nice mix of local shops and international brands. I had a great time shopping here, there’s truly something for everyone. The dining options are plentiful, and the cool, comfortable atmosphere is a perfect break from the heat. The staff are friendly and helpful, making the whole experience even better. The minus part is it’s quite slippery during raining because it’s quite open space. Tip:Be sure to check out the international customer counter at the information desk, they offer helpful services and sometimes special promotions or tax refund guidance. Central Krabi is definitely worth a visit while exploring the area!
Central Krabi is a very nice and clean mall in the city centre. It has a good variety of shops and plenty of food options. The best part is that it is very family-friendly. They have a good play area for kids, which makes it a perfect place to visit with family. Kids can enjoy while parents can relax, shop, or dine. Overall, a pleasant and comfortable place to spend a few hours in Krabi. Great shopping spot with a huge variety of shoe brands and collections. Perfect place if you love buying footwear from super sports . Just keep in mind that Indian food and proper vegetarian food options are not available.
A whole different level of shopping experience. Does not feel like a Mall at all, more like a little shopping village. Very nice but rather go when the sun is settle since it would be to hot. All asphalted therefore a lot of heat sticks in it. There is a nice little playground in the Shadow for kids with a little sandbox.
Tips for Visiting Markets & Shopping
Haggle at Markets, Not Malls
Prices at market stalls are negotiable — start at 50–60% of the asking price and meet in the middle. Fixed-price shops and malls don't haggle. Smile and keep it friendly; aggressive bargaining is considered rude.
Arrive Early or Late
Vendors believe the first sale of the day is lucky — you'll often get a better deal if you arrive right when the market opens. Late in the evening, sellers may also discount to avoid packing unsold goods.
Be Cautious with Tailors
Bangkok has excellent tailors, but also many tourist traps. Avoid anyone offering suspiciously cheap suits or who approaches you on the street. Ask your hotel for recommendations, read reviews, and always get two fittings.
