Why go, and how to do it well
Think shopping village rather than mall. The layout is open-air, laid out in blocks you walk between, and that single design choice changes how the place feels. It also means the asphalt soaks up heat all day, so midday in the hot season is a genuine slog. Go in the morning or, better, once the sun drops. Rain is the other catch, as the open walkways get slippery fast.
What's inside is genuinely practical, with a big Tops supermarket for stocking up, Miniso, souvenir shops, a lot of clothing and shoe brands, and food covering Thai stalls, coffee shops and chains like KFC. Families get the most out of it thanks to a shaded playground with a sandbox, which buys parents an hour to eat or shop in peace. The toilets get mentioned in review after review, which tells you they're kept clean.
I'd treat it as a stop rather than a destination. It's on Phet Kasem Road in Krabi town, so it works as a supply run before the islands or a cool-down after a day out.

I really enjoyed my visit to Central Krabi. The mall is bright, modern, and very well organized, with a nice mix of local shops and international brands. I had a great time shopping here, there’s truly something for everyone. The dining options are plentiful, and the cool, comfortable atmosphere is a perfect break from the heat. The staff are friendly and helpful, making the whole experience even better. The minus part is it’s quite slippery during raining because it’s quite open space. Tip:Be sure to check out the international customer counter at the information desk, they offer helpful services and sometimes special promotions or tax refund guidance. Central Krabi is definitely worth a visit while exploring the area!
A whole different level of shopping experience. Does not feel like a Mall at all, more like a little shopping village. Very nice but rather go when the sun is settle since it would be to hot. All asphalted therefore a lot of heat sticks in it. There is a nice little playground in the Shadow for kids with a little sandbox.
It has everything. So many different food options(coffees, fried chicken, Thai food, kfc etc), clean toilets, so many clothes brands for shopping, it has also a miniso shop! Excellent! We visited twice already.
