Villas Aelita Pool Villa Resort
Tucked away in the Thalang district of Phuket, roughly 30 minutes from the airport, Villas Aelita Pool Villa Resort offers self-contained private villas, each with its own pool and quiet outdoor space. The resort sits within a guarded compound, providing an added sense of security and seclusion that suits families and couples alike looking to escape the bustle of more central Phuket areas. Guests consistently highlight the welcoming nature of the hosts, the cleanliness of the facilities, and the appeal of having a private pool without sharing resort amenities. The villas accommodate multiple guests comfortably, with three-bedroom configurations available. The surrounding area is low-key rather than lively, with a handful of restaurants within roughly a kilometre and Bang Tao Beach reachable by a short drive of around 10 minutes. A few practical points worth knowing before booking: fire ants are present on the grounds, so food and sweet wrappers should be disposed of carefully and not left outdoors. Some guests have noted the beds lean on the firmer side, so those with specific sleep preferences may want to enquire in advance. Transport costs from the resort can run high if arranged through the property directly, so sourcing a taxi independently is worth considering. The resort is listed and bookable through Airbnb, making it straightforward to confirm availability and communicate with the host prior to arrival.

Visitor Reviews
I couldn't resist writing about this place. Villa Aelita is simply heaven in terms of acomodation and care. We were welcomed from the minute we arrive until the minute we left. The host was so welcoming and very very helpful all the time,it's a great place to stay clean and tidy. The quality of beds, furniture and linings are very good. As described amazing pool and relaxing. The very first thing we did on arrival was..jumping in the pool.. Highly recommended for the stay.
Stayed at Aelita for 9 days. Exactly as described, amazing pool, and relaxing area. Great shower facilities and clean toilet. Fire ants are around though, so please dispose of sweets/food correctly. If your landlord is James, ask him about scooter rentals, hired for for 9 days. Top Aussie bloke!
Nice villa with own pool in a small group of villas, about 30 minutes from the airport. The compound has a guard. Some nice restaurants about 1 km away, and a lovely beach 10 minutes by car. The downside is that almost everywhere is a taxi ride away including the beach, and taxis are now very expensive in Phuket - minimum 300 Baht (~10US$) and double that to go further south. A one hour zipline circuit in the forest costs 100US$ also for children!! European destinations are cheaper - Phuket is no longer a low cost holiday destination.
