The pitch here is distance. You get Patong within reach, but you sleep on a hillside above the Andaman rather than beside a bar on the main strip. That trade-off works if you're happy to plan your evenings around the free shuttle, which runs to the beach and back every two hours. Not frequent, so check the timings on arrival and build your dinner around them.
Rooms run from garden view up to sea view, with pool villas that connect straight to the main pool. Those villas don't have interconnecting doors between them, worth knowing if you're booking two for a family with small kids. There are three restaurants, a spa and yoga sessions on site, and the yoga is beginner-friendly by all accounts, though give them notice if you're arriving as a group so they've got enough mats. The buffet breakfast gets consistent praise, including from people with specific diets. Staff are the thing guests name most often, by name.
The one repeated complaint worth flagging: air conditioning and bathroom faults in individual rooms. Say something at reception straight away rather than waiting it out.

What a beautiful resort! Overlooking the Andaman Sea in Phuket this resort was amazing, clean, and well serviced. I have never done yoga before and when our group of 7 showed up they didn't have enough yoga mats for us but they accommodated us anyway with pool towels. It was our fault for not giving them advanced notice. The instructor was Mad, who was just the right teacher for a beginner as well as for advanced yoga participants. His assistant Bank was super helpful for me with the right touch helping me balance and assisting me with the correct poses and posture. The pool was just the right place to be after a session of yoga and it is a pool with a great view of the surroundings. Our group, as well as myself, thoroughly enjoyed our time at the Crest Resort and Pool Villas.
Fab hotel and a great place to stay close to Patong but without being in amongst the hustle and bustle of the main resort. We had a bed and breakfast package with a garden view room. The room was immaculate and pretty large, with good air conditioning. Breakfast was served as a buffet with an excellent choice of food for different diets. We traveled into Patong most evenings using the free shuttle and there’s a big selection of restaurants to choose from. Overall a nice location, with great views and yet within easy reach of other amenities. Even a 7Eleven nearby for any essentials you may need.
⭐☆☆☆☆ Disappointing Experience – Not What We Expected for an Anniversary Stay We recently stayed at Crest Resort & Pool Villas, Phuket, expecting a comfortable and memorable experience as we were celebrating our anniversary. Unfortunately, the experience was quite disappointing. The air conditioning in Room 13XX was not functioning properly, making the room extremely uncomfortable, especially in Phuket’s climate. In addition, the bathroom facilities were not working as they should, which was surprising for a resort that positions itself as a premium property. For a resort of this category, one would expect basic room functionality and maintenance to be in order before guests check in, particularly when guests have communicated that they are celebrating a special occasion. While the location of the resort and the views are beautiful, the overall room condition and comfort fell short of expectations, which unfortunately affected what was meant to be a special stay. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and improves room maintenance, quality checks, and guest experience, as the property has the potential to offer a much better stay than what we experienced.
