Sizzle Rooftop Restaurant

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A Phuket Must Visit I found Sizzle Steakhouse after seeing it listed as one of Phuket’s Top 25 restaurants, and it truly lived up to the hype. The moment you walk into the hotel, the décor is stunning and when the elevator doors open onto the rooftop, you’re met with one of the most beautiful dining settings imaginable, complete with live music and an incredible view of Phuket. We were seated at a gorgeous table overlooking Phuket , and the food absolutely blew me away.I ordered the Spanish octopus, and my boyfriend had the half chicken, and both dishes tasted absolutely delicious. What made the night unforgettable was the service, especially from the manager, Simona. She checked on every table with genuine warmth, and when she spoke with us, she was so fun and engaging. For our anniversary, she and the team surprised us with music, bubbles, and a special chocolate dessert we cracked open with a little hammer 🥺❤️ such a thoughtful touch that made the night truly special, we also received lemon sorbet as a welcome gift…..lemoncello after our food AND to top it off fresh made truffle chocolate at the very end. It was truly amazing We left feeling so grateful. Simona is exceptional at what she does, and it’s easy to see why she’s the manager. If you’re in Phuket, Sizzle Rooftop Steakhouse is absolutely worth a visit.

Partner & I had a lovely time at Sizzle, to celebrate his birthday. Unfortunately, the evening we went on was during rainy season and we were unable to watch the sunset. However, the food & ambience definitely made up for it. The menu is very meat heavy, and does not come with sides (you have to order them separately). Overall on the costly side, given that it’s a Michelin guide restaurant. We had the lamb rack, pork chop, broccolini and roasted carrots. Staff gave us some pita to start, and their tiki cocktails were great! Perfect for the tropics. We also had the sticky toffee pudding cake which was way bigger than we expected, and we were so stuffed after. The staff also came out with a surprise song & chocolate dessert for the birthday. We had a good time and would definitely recommend coming here if you’re celebrating something special (:

This experience did not meet the expectations of a Michelin-level restaurant. We ordered fish and octopus. The fish was excellent; however, the octopus was excessively salty. We mentioned this to the staff and were told that it is prepared this way. Even if that is the intended flavor profile, a better balance should have been considered — especially by serving the accompanying potatoes and sides without additional salt. Unfortunately, they were just as salty, which made the dish unpleasant. The service was equally disappointing. Used plates were not cleared promptly, water glasses were not refilled, and no one checked on us to ask about the food or whether we needed anything else. When we requested the cocktail menu, we were forgotten and had to ask again. During our visit, several influencers were present and actively filming. The staff’s attention appeared to be focused primarily on them, while other guests, including us, received noticeably less attention, despite being paying customers. Given the standards expected of a Michelin-recognized restaurant, the overall experience felt unbalanced. We paid €180, which does not reflect the level of service and consistency we received. Based on this visit, the experience felt closer to an €80 value.
