Khalifa Samui
Khalifa Samui is a water sports and activity operator based in the Bo Put area of Koh Samui, offering a range of ocean-based experiences including jet skiing, parasailing, and towable rides. Operating across open bay waters, the service appeals to travellers looking to make the most of Koh Samui's coastline with guided, hands-on activities rather than simply relaxing on the beach. Visitors consistently highlight the professionalism and friendliness of the team, with staff members praised by name for creating a welcoming and safe environment. The operation caters well to families, with staff noted for taking particular care to ensure children feel comfortable and confident during activities. Hotel pickup and drop-off is available, adding a layer of convenience for those without independent transport. The bay setting offers plenty of open water space, making for an enjoyable experience even when sea conditions are slightly choppy. Good to know: Khalifa Samui operates as a tour and activity service rather than a fixed venue, so booking in advance is advisable, especially during peak season between December and February. Wear or bring a swimsuit, and consider reef-safe sunscreen for water activities. Lightweight, quick-dry clothing is practical for the journey back. Confirm pickup arrangements and activity inclusions directly with the operator when booking.

Tips for Visiting Hotels & Resorts
Book Shoulder Season
May–June and September–October offer dramatic discounts (30–50% off peak rates) with fewer crowds. Weather is mixed but rarely a washout — afternoon showers clear quickly.
Compare OTAs and Direct Rates
Always check the hotel's own website after finding a rate on Agoda or Booking.com. Many Thai properties offer a best-rate guarantee or throw in perks like free breakfast when you book direct.
Pool Villa Doesn't Mean Expensive
Private pool villas in Krabi, Hua Hin, and Chiang Mai start around 2,500–4,000 THB/night — a fraction of Bali or Maldives prices. Search specifically for 'pool villa' to surface hidden gems.
