Iyara Spa
Tucked into the quieter Bo Put neighbourhood on Koh Samui's northeastern coast, Iyara Spa is a massage and wellness establishment offering a focused range of treatments including facials, sports massage, body scrubs, hot stone therapy, and neck and shoulder massage. A steam room is also available on-site, and parking is accessible at the rear of the building, making it a practical choice for those arriving by scooter or car. Visitors consistently describe the atmosphere as calm and professional, and the spa appears to draw repeat customers who prioritise quality over novelty. Facial treatments and sports massage are particularly well-regarded in visitor feedback, with cleanliness and attentive service noted as standout qualities. The spa caters to a range of needs, from post-beach relaxation to more therapeutic bodywork for active travellers. Good to know: Morning visits around 11am tend to be quieter, with shorter wait times and a more relaxed pace. As with most spas on the island, booking ahead is advisable during peak season, which runs from November through February. Be aware that experiences with nail treatments appear mixed based on visitor feedback, so those services may be worth approaching with caution. Since operating hours are not listed online, contacting the spa directly or asking at your accommodation before visiting is recommended.

Visitor Reviews
Best in Chaweng area. We stayed in Samui for 2 weeks and tried lots of massage places. We liked them all fine, but after we tried Iyara we only went there! They are very calm and professional massages. We had a range of services all excellent - full body Thai, aloe Vera for sunburn, oil massage, foot massage, and I had waxing too. Beautiful business and lovely staff, thank you Iyara for making our holiday so relaxing!
Probably the best facial treatment I had so far ! I would like to recommend their service. This is clean & they take care of you from start to finish. A special thank you to Au who made the experience even better! Thanks a lot ! I hope to come back
Very nice service. They always have free hands anytime I visited them. Especially in the morning at 11:00am it is calm and charming. Hot stone and neck&shoulders massages are my favorite! Recommend everyone
Tips for Visiting Wellness & Spas
Learn Wat Pho First
Wat Pho in Bangkok is the birthplace of traditional Thai massage education. Their on-site massage pavilion offers excellent treatments from students and graduates at reasonable prices — and you know the technique is authentic.
Communicate Pressure Preferences
Thai massage can be intense. Say 'bao bao' for lighter pressure or 'nак nак' for harder. A good therapist will check in, but don't hesitate to speak up — suffering in silence defeats the purpose.
Book Longer Sessions
A 60-minute massage is fine, but 90 or 120 minutes allows the therapist to work thoroughly. The price difference is often only 200–400 THB for an extra hour — worth it for a deeper, more relaxing experience.
