THEE Vijit Lanna
Tucked into the Chang Moi district of Chiang Mai's historic old city, THEE Vijit Lanna is a boutique resort hotel that draws on traditional Lanna architectural style while delivering contemporary comfort. The property earns consistent praise from guests for its thoughtful design, cleanliness, and the warmth of its staff — qualities that make it stand out among accommodation options in this culturally rich neighbourhood. Guests can expect rooms that balance intimacy with attention to detail, with deluxe suites described by visitors as particularly well-appointed. The atmosphere is peaceful and charming despite the central location, which places travellers within easy walking distance of Chiang Mai's temples, night markets, and local restaurants. The blend of boutique character and genuine hospitality makes it a strong choice for couples, families, and those returning to Chiang Mai looking for something a little more personal than a large hotel. Good to know: the property operates around the clock, which suits travellers arriving on overnight trains or late flights from Bangkok. Chiang Mai's peak tourist season runs from November to February, when the weather is at its most pleasant but accommodation fills quickly — booking well in advance is advisable for this period. Guests should also check the hotel's own website at theevijit.com for current rates and packages, as direct bookings may offer the best available options.

Visitor Reviews
We stayed here as a family in Chiang Mai and absolutely loved it. The hotel is a real little pearl tucked into the heart of the old city. It feels peaceful and charming, yet you are just minutes away from one of the weekend markets and many great spots to explore. What really makes this place special is the attention to small details. The pool area is beautiful, especially with the soft fog drifting across the water, and the rooms have lovely scents that make everything feel calm and welcoming. Breakfast is wonderful with great options and a relaxed vibe, plus free coffee, fruit, and snacks available throughout the day, which was a really nice touch. The rooms are not especially large, but that is very typical for hotels in this area and never felt like a drawback. What truly sets this hotel apart is the staff. Everyone works together seamlessly, from the front desk to the kitchen to housekeeping, and there was always someone ready to help with genuine warmth and care. There are just a couple of small things worth noting. The pool is on the colder side, mainly because of its location and limited sun exposure, so it may not be ideal if you are looking for long swims. Also, the bar in the hotel can get a bit loud at times. A white noise machine in the room could be a nice addition for light sleepers. A special thank you to Bell who runs the kitchen team and to the GM Jimmy (P.K.) who took extra time to make sure our stay was nothing less than 100 percent great. I do not leave many reviews, but this one was definitely deserved. Highly recommended.
The whole team at Thee Vijitt Lanna were incredibly friendly and professional and made our stay very enjoyable. The rooms (deluxe) are intimate for Chiang Mai standards, but the attention to detail and design make them standout. Unfortunately our window didn’t have a view which is a shame as the views of CM are always great. The breakfast was a stand out! This is served à la carte and the menu switches every day. The morning team are super friendly and there is a station to make your own freshly squeezed juices which I have never seen before. The hotel manager and Bell (restaurant supervisor) made a particular effort to make our trip memorable, welcoming us to their bar which is complimentary for guests between 11am-2pm, a super nice touch. They also run a free shuttle to Jing Jai Market on a weekend which we recommend! Finally the pool, which looks tempting throughout the entire day, unfortunately does not receive any sunlight due to the location within the courtyard. However it is heated, so it makes taking a dip a nice experience. Totally recommend this place as a great option to stay in Chiang Mai!
What a lovely little find. We booked the gorgeous Thee Vijit Lanna on our return to Chiang Mai to celebrate our Paper Anniversary. This resort hotel does not disappoint. Our delightful Deluxe Suite was immaculate in presentation and the daily room clean was professional and unobtrusive. The staff successfully leap beyond typical Thai hospitality (which is a high bar to jump over), being always attentive, warm and welcoming. The pool is warmed during Chiang Mai’s cooler months, and is perfectly complemented by a free flow bar and snacks on its second floor cocktail bar. The breakfast is al a carte and flexible to your needs. They even remembered our order this morning! We will be returning on our next visit.
