DE LUXE BOUTIQUE AND ROOFTOP
Compare prices
Tucked down a soi off the main road in the Si Phum area of Chiang Mai's old city, De Luxe Boutique and Rooftop offers a calm retreat with easy access to the city's restaurants, convenience stores, and key attractions. The location suits travellers who prefer to explore on foot or by moped taxi, with popular dining and amenities within comfortable walking distance. The hotel's standout feature is its rooftop pool, a welcome respite in Chiang Mai's heat, alongside clean and comfortable rooms. What consistently earns praise from guests, however, is the quality of the staff — particularly a team member named Nud, who is mentioned repeatedly for going well beyond standard hospitality. Guests describe being welcomed with maps, handwritten local recommendations, and even a prepared takeaway breakfast arranged the evening before an early departure. Solo female travellers have noted feeling particularly safe and well looked after during their stay. Prospective guests should be aware that while there is a rooftop pool, there is no rooftop bar or food and beverage service in that space, so those hoping for a full rooftop experience may want to factor that in. Booking directly through the hotel's website is worth considering, and given the small boutique scale of the property, reserving well in advance is advisable, especially during Chiang Mai's busy cool-season months from November through February.

We had a great stay here :) top best thing to me was how great Nud took care of us. As soon as we arrived she sat down with us and pulled out a map which she gave us, and wrote the names and locations of restaurants and other things we’d thought of visiting. She later booked our boxing fight tickets, our cooking class, and organized our moped :) super helpful and responsive! The room and bathroom were clean and they cleaned it every day. Ac worked great! We swam in the pool and enjoyed it as well. Great price and we would stay here again. Thanks Nud!
Loved my stay here (Feb ‘25) as a solo female traveller - felt safe. Great location, close to popular restaurants, a 7-Eleven, I walked to quite a lot of places from here or used a moped taxi. Nud, the host, was fantastic. Super friendly and helped organise trips for me. Great price - double spacious room, clean, balcony, rooftop pool (although I didn’t use as very little sitting/space to chill), air con & a laundry service. Would recommend & stay here again!
Perfect Hotel to stay in Chiang Mai. Nud the housekeeper was very friendly and supportive. Even for our early check out she prepared a breakfast for take away in the evening before. Clean rooms, great location and friendly. We would recommend this hotel to everyone. We loved it!
