Double B Hostel
Tucked away on Soi Trok Nava in Bangkok's historic Phra Nakhon district, Double B Hostel sits within walking distance of some of the city's most significant cultural landmarks, including the Grand Palace, Wat Pho, and the riverside streets of Talad Noi. The property draws consistently strong praise from guests, and its Facebook page serves as the primary channel for updates and direct communication. Inside, the hostel strikes a balance between comfort and community. Guests report clean, quiet rooms with comfortable beds, while shared spaces on the first floor offer a relaxed social atmosphere complete with a free air hockey table, a reading corner, and a laptop for guest use. The lobby also receives particular mention for its character. Beyond the hostel itself, the surrounding neighbourhood provides easy access to local restaurants, street food stalls, and convenience stores, giving the area an authentic, lived-in feel rather than a purely tourist-facing one. Good to know: Bangkok Awakening and similar cultural events in the Phra Nakhon area can increase demand for accommodation, so booking ahead is advisable, particularly between November and February when visitor numbers across the city peak. The neighbourhood streets can become congested during daylight hours, making early morning walks a more pleasant way to explore the area. Prospective guests should check the hostel's Facebook page directly before arrival to confirm room availability, current rates, and any facility details, as photos and listings on third-party booking platforms may not fully reflect what the property offers.

Visitor Reviews
I first noticed Double B Hostel quite a while ago during Bangkok Awakening 2024 event, and it stayed in my mind ever since. This time, I finally booked a stay here because I was in town for the Midnight Run. The location is honestly one of its strongest points, right in the heart of Bangkok, surrounded by great local food spots and lively streets, yet still easy to access and convenient for getting around the city. The cleanliness of the room really stood out. Everything was spotless, well-maintained, and clearly taken care of with attention to detail. The room itself is very functional, smartly designed, practical, and aesthetically pleasing at the same time. This thoughtful design carries through the entire hostel, making both the private spaces and common areas feel modern, comfortable, and welcoming. Service here deserves special mention. The staff were incredibly friendly, polite, and genuinely helpful throughout the stay. From check-in to any small questions in between, everyone was attentive and warm, creating a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere. It’s the kind of place where good design meets good hospitality — simple, comfortable, and easy to enjoy.
We had a very beautiful and comfortable room. The two of us stayed there, and although I had some doubts about the bed at first, it turned out to be very comfortable. Our room was both clean and quiet. Since we stayed somewhere else on our last night, I can confidently say we were much more satisfied here — the quietness was amazing. The rooms were clean and had all the necessary amenities. Right across the street from the hostel, there was a noodle place called Ta Chai Sukhothai. We ate there every morning and it was absolutely delicious — I highly recommend it as well. The hostel staff were very kind and helpful. We were able to leave our luggage in a secure room both during check-in and after check-out. In terms of location, we took the S1 bus from the airport and only had to walk about 7 minutes on a straight road to reach the hostel. I really liked this place and would definitely recommend staying here — you will be very satisfied.
Perfect localization, you can reach top Bangkok attractions by the foot. Close are very good restaurants and shops (e.g. 7/11). In our room was very quiet. Thus the surroundings are not very clear but it is typical in this location. We felt very safe. Staff was very, very nice, helpful and competent. We were early but the allow us to leave our luggage and check-in later. In hostel is iron with desk, washing and drying machine in common space. Also there is vending machine with laundry stuff, some snacks and drinks. Room has AC and hairdryer, comfortable bed. In building is elevator. Design is very modern and aesthetic. The room as immaculately clean. We get new portion of water every day. On ground floor is also small café. Relation between price and quality is perfect.
