Situated along the banks of the river in Ayutthaya, iuDia Hotel offers guests refined accommodation with a distinctly local character. Several rooms face directly onto the river and the ancient temple ruins on the opposite bank, making it a natural choice for travellers who want their surroundings to feel connected to the destination itself. A small gallery and art touches throughout the property add a thoughtful, curated atmosphere that sets it apart from standard lodging options in the area. Guests can expect a calm, private environment with a pool positioned right alongside the river — an ideal spot for watching both sunrise and sunset. Breakfast is served daily and includes both a buffet and à la carte options. Free loaner bicycles are available, which suits Ayutthaya well given the number of temple ruins and historic sites accessible by bike. The surrounding neighbourhood also has plenty of practical conveniences within easy reach, including cafes, local eateries, a 7-Eleven, and the area's well-known Roti Sai Mai shops. The hotel reception and facilities operate from 07:00 to 21:00 daily, so travellers arriving on late-night transport should arrange check-in details in advance. Given the intimate scale of the property and its popularity among visitors seeking a quieter, more atmospheric stay in Ayutthaya, booking ahead is advisable, particularly during peak travel periods around Thailand's historic festival dates.

Visitor Reviews
I had a great time at the hotel. It is a small hotel with excellent service. The staff is amazing, they really help you with all you need. Breakfast has a small buffet and à la carte menu. Everything is fresh. The pool area is also small, but very well manicured and the view is amazing. It really feels more like a home than a hotel. My room was spotless and modern. I was under the impression that it was closer to the temples, but it is a good 25 minute walk instead. That’s fine with me, but just something to consider. To be fair, I don’t think I saw any hotel closer to the park. Or at least none with the same star rating. I would recommend staying overnight in Ayutthaya! In particular over the weekend, so that you can enjoy the night markets.
Very nice cosy hotel with amazing river view. There’s an old temple on the opposite side. Their pool is right next to the river. There’re so you can sit and relax watching the sunrise and sunset. The hotel can also arrange boat tour and the boat comes to pick you up right at the hotel pier. The rooms are spacious and clean. The hotel price also includes breakfast. The location is is great. It’s inside the old town and not so far from historical site. There’s very limited parking space so do tell the hotel in advance that you need parking space.
Great hotel. Among the best in Ayuthaya. Peaceful, relaxed, pricate and silent atmosphere. Great view on the temple and river. Good breakfast. Free bcycles. Very good restaurant for the dinner is just 100 meters west. Many thanks to the hotel staff and host!

Pool Villa Doesn't Mean Expensive
Private pool villas in Krabi, Hua Hin, and Chiang Mai start around 2,500–4,000 THB/night — a fraction of Bali or Maldives prices. Search specifically for 'pool villa' to surface hidden gems.
