Siam Adventure World
Based at Royal Phuket Marina on Thepkasattri Road, this tour and travel agency specialises in full-day island excursions departing from Phuket and the surrounding region. Popular itineraries include early-morning departures to Phi Phi Islands, Similan Islands, Surin Islands, and James Bond Island, with guides leading small groups to snorkelling spots, wildlife encounters, and scenic coastal areas throughout the day.
Visitor experiences consistently highlight the quality of the guides, with named staff such as Don, Panda, and Lucas receiving particular praise for their knowledge, humour, and attentiveness on the water. Lunches are included on at least some tours and have drawn positive feedback. The early-bird departure format — with some tours starting as early as 5am — is a deliberate choice that allows groups to reach popular islands before the crowds arrive, a detail that reviewers note makes a meaningful difference to the experience. Solo travellers and groups alike report feeling well looked after throughout.

🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 I booked the Similan Islands tour through GetYourGuide and did the trip solo this time as my partner was unwell, and honestly it ended up being one of the best day tours I’ve done in Thailand 🌴 Got a better price using discoun code TRAVELWIZZARD5 too 👌🏽 From the very start, everything was extremely well organised. We were welcomed with a proper breakfast before setting off, which immediately set a good tone for the day ☕️🥐 Our tour guide Emma was excellent throughout. She was friendly, calm, knowledgeable and really on top of keeping the day running smoothly without it ever feeling rushed. The Similan Islands themselves are absolutely unreal 🤯 I’ve travelled a lot, but the water clarity here is on another level and easily the clearest water I’ve ever seen. Snorkelling was a huge highlight, with incredible up close GoPro footage of sea turtles and schools of fish in crystal clear conditions 🐢🐠 Visibility was amazing and the snorkelling spots chosen felt well planned rather than overcrowded. Lunch was a buffet and for a group tour it was surprisingly good with plenty of choice 🍽️ Water and soft drinks were available all day free of charge, which makes a big difference on a long and hot island hopping day 💦 The breakfast before departure was also a really nice touch. The speedboat journey was around 1 hour 20 minutes each way 🚤 On the way out it was smooth, but the return was quite choppy due to the sea conditions. It was absolutely fine for most people, but if you have a serious back injury or ongoing back issues it is something worth keeping in mind. I mention it purely to be helpful for anyone planning ahead. Overall this was a genuinely outstanding experience from start to finish ⭐️ I’ll be doing the exact same tour again in two weeks with my partner as she was ill this morning and couldn’t make it unfortunately. If you’re considering the Similan Islands, this tour is absolutely worth it.
We did the early bird tour to Similan island from Khao Lak. Everything was perfect. From communications to reserve, pick up, breakfast and the tour itself. Our guide Don was really good, funny, clear with instructions and was managing time very well. The 3 snorkeling spots were really really nice, the water is sooo clear. Don't expect to be alone there. There will be many people, but as most people stay close to the boat, it's easy to get away from the crowd. It's way better than the tours who are not early bird ( we did that last time and it's amazingly crowded). So I really recommend that tour.
Amazing experience! I have visited both the Surin and Similan Islands with Panda and Lucas, they were amazing, they brought us to all the best spots, we saw the turtles, Napoleon fish and also some hidden gems especially in Surin Island. The boat was clean, fast and lunch was typical tasty Thai. 100% Recommended

Tips for Visiting Activities & Tours
Vet Elephant Sanctuaries
Only visit sanctuaries that prohibit riding, use no chains or bullhooks, and let elephants roam freely. Elephant Nature Park in Chiang Mai set the standard. If a place offers painting shows or circus tricks, walk away.
Book Popular Activities Online
Booking platforms like GetYourGuide give you instant confirmation and, on many activities, free cancellation — and you can read recent reviews before committing. Compare with local agencies for multi-day trips where negotiation might save more.
Do Outdoor Activities in the Morning
Heat and humidity peak from noon to 3 PM. Schedule jungle treks, cycling tours, and outdoor cooking classes for early morning. Water activities are more flexible since you're in and out of the sea.
