Castaway Club - Phuket
Castaway Club is a marina-based tour and charter agency operating out of Phuket, specialising in private catamaran cruises and guided boat tours to some of the region's most iconic destinations, including Phi Phi Island, Maya Bay, and Coral Island. The agency caters to solo travellers, couples, and families alike, with flexible booking options that allow guests to tailor their experience — whether that means a half-day sunset cruise, a full-day island-hopping adventure, or a private charter for a group. Visitors can expect well-maintained vessels, attentive crew, and thoughtfully included extras such as fresh fruit platters, onboard lunch, and snorkelling opportunities. Reviews consistently highlight the quality of the crew and the ease of the booking process, with staff noted for being responsive and accommodating — even for last-minute reservations. The island-hopping tours combine swimming and snorkelling stops with scenic anchorages, finishing with views of the renowned Phuket sunset. Castaway Club operates seven days a week from 07:00 to 19:00, making it straightforward to slot a tour into most travel itineraries. Prospective guests are encouraged to book directly through the official website at castawayclubphuket.com. Given the popularity of routes like Phi Phi Island and Maya Bay, booking ahead — particularly during the high season between November and April — is advisable to secure preferred dates and vessel types.

Visitor Reviews
Fantastic experience with Mitch & Castaway club. Rented a private catamaran for my family of 5. Booked only the day prior and Mitch was very responsive to our needs while trying to source the perfect boat for us. They arranged for the transfers to & fro Chalong pier, had a crew of 3 boat crews and 2 guides; which were outstanding. Shout out to Donut and her team, which took great care of us with their hospitality. Went to Racha island for snorkeling, water was super clear and teeming with fish. Had the included lunch on board which was served upon us literally jumping out of the water post-snorkeling. Drinks and snacks were also provided. Lazing under the shade on the trampoline at the bow while the catamaran is cruising with the wind in your face is something that is quintessential the Phuket beach lifestyle. Donut and her team of the "Black Pearl" were always fussing over us and spared no effort to make sure we enjoyed the trip; constantly offering us drinks/snacks/towels and even jumping into the water to paddle us around for the not-so-strong swimmers. Hats off.
We had a wonderful half day private cruise with Castaways. The boat was a great size and very clean. The crew were amazing, with nothing too much trouble and the lunch and fresh fruit platters were delicious. There is nothing better than jumping off the back of a boat onto the crystal clear waters of Thailand and then stopping to see a spectacular sunset before heading back. This was our second time using Castaways and I highly recommend this company if you are looking to do a cruise off Phuket.
We booked the island hopping sunset tour and had an incredible time. The trip included Coral Island and ended with the famous Phuket sunset absolutely stunning! The whole process was super easy from start to finish, and the service was top-notch. Mitch and the team were friendly, welcoming, and went out of their way to make sure everything ran smoothly. Highly recommend this experience if you’re looking for something a bit more special in Phuket.

Tips for Visiting Activities & Tours
Vet Elephant Sanctuaries
Only visit sanctuaries that prohibit riding, use no chains or bullhooks, and let elephants roam freely. Elephant Nature Park in Chiang Mai set the standard. If a place offers painting shows or circus tricks, walk away.
Book Through Klook or GetYourGuide
These platforms offer instant confirmation, free cancellation on most activities, and prices that are often lower than walk-up rates. Compare with local agencies for multi-day trips where negotiation might save more.
Do Outdoor Activities in the Morning
Heat and humidity peak from noon to 3 PM. Schedule jungle treks, cycling tours, and outdoor cooking classes for early morning. Water activities are more flexible since you're in and out of the sea.
