Simba Sea Trips Co; Ltd
Operating out of Boat Lagoon marina on Thep Krasattri Road, Simba Sea Trips is a Phuket-based tour agency specialising in full-day sea excursions to two of southern Thailand's most celebrated destinations: the Phi Phi Islands and Phang Nga Bay. The company has earned a strong following among couples, families, and solo travellers drawn to well-run, premium boat tours with a professional crew focused on both safety and enjoyment. The Phi Phi Sunrise Tour is a signature offering, departing early to reach the islands ahead of the crowds — a detail that sets the experience apart from standard day trips. Visitors consistently highlight the seamless organisation from booking through to departure, along with guides and crew who are attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely engaged throughout the day. The Boat Lagoon marina provides a polished and accessible departure point, adding to the overall sense of a well-managed operation. Good to know: Tours run seven days a week with departures from 05:00, making early starts straightforward to plan around a broader Phuket itinerary. Advance booking through simbaseatrips.com is strongly recommended, particularly between November and February when demand is at its peak and tours fill quickly. Pack sun protection, a light layer for time on the water, quick-dry clothing, and water shoes if snorkelling is planned.

Visitor Reviews
My wife and I took the Phi Phi Sunrise Tour-D on January 8, 2026, and we were super impressed with both the tour and Simba Sea Trips - Phuket. The booking process was super easy. The company provided excellent early-morning pickup and drop-off service from a hotel 40 minutes’ drive from the marina. The tour itself exceeded our expectations. The support team was excellent, and our tour leader, Joseph, was very knowledgeable, professional, and customer-focused. He did an excellent job making sure all 18 passengers on the boat received an excellent experience, independent of their focus and interests. The tour stopped at seven locations, giving us a great overview of Ko Phi Phi and a relaxing stop at the end at Rang Yai Island. We never went hungry, from two breakfasts (one in the marina before departure and one at Maya Beach) through spring rolls and fruit on the boat to a very tasty Thai food spread for lunch after arriving back at the marina. In summary, the Simba Sea tour offers great value for money and is very much recommended as a reconnaissance trip to Phi Phi during one’s stay in Phuket.
We did two trips with Simba Sea Trips (Phang Nga Bay and Phi Phi Islands) and both days were absolutely outstanding. From start to finish, everything felt perfectly organized and truly premium. The crew was incredibly professional, friendly, and attentive, and you could tell they really know what they’re doing. The itinerary and timing were spot on, and they made a real effort to avoid the biggest crowds whenever possible, which made the experience feel much more special and relaxed. The spots they chose were stunning, the boat was super comfortable, and the food was genuinely delicious, fresh, and way better than what you typically expect on a day tour. If you’re thinking about booking a tour around Phuket, I can’t recommend Simba enough. Two amazing days, incredible service, and memories we’ll keep forever. Highly recommended! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
We had an amazing experience with Simba Sea Trips today! Everything was perfectly organized, safe, and enjoyable from start to finish. A big thank you to Harry for the warm welcome, great coordination and the amazing photos and viseos he took for us ! , Captain Fin for a smooth and professional ride, and Jane for being so kind, attentive, and helpful throughout the trip. The crew truly made the day special and memorable. We also had a wonderful time at Ban Rim Nam Restaurant — delicious food, beautiful atmosphere, and excellent service. It was the perfect way to relax and enjoy authentic flavors after a fantastic sea trip.I will recommend this company to all my friends and relatives who are planning to visit phuket

Tips for Visiting Activities & Tours
Vet Elephant Sanctuaries
Only visit sanctuaries that prohibit riding, use no chains or bullhooks, and let elephants roam freely. Elephant Nature Park in Chiang Mai set the standard. If a place offers painting shows or circus tricks, walk away.
Book Through Klook or GetYourGuide
These platforms offer instant confirmation, free cancellation on most activities, and prices that are often lower than walk-up rates. Compare with local agencies for multi-day trips where negotiation might save more.
Do Outdoor Activities in the Morning
Heat and humidity peak from noon to 3 PM. Schedule jungle treks, cycling tours, and outdoor cooking classes for early morning. Water activities are more flexible since you're in and out of the sea.
