Amazing Canoeing - Royal Phuket Marina Meeting Point

4.8(409 reviews)

Operating from a dedicated meeting point at Royal Phuket Marina, this tour agency runs a range of water-based excursions across Phuket's surrounding waters. While sea canoeing sits at the core of the offering, visitor reviews reveal a broader programme that includes Phi Phi Island day trips by speedboat and the popular James Bond Island tour — all departing from the marina's convenient location on Thepkasattri Road in Muang district. Guests consistently highlight the professionalism of the operation, with well-maintained vessels, organised itineraries, and guides who balance sightseeing with genuine downtime. Named guides including Tommy, Ohma, and Joey have drawn specific praise for their warmth, communication, and ability to keep the atmosphere relaxed and enjoyable. Tours are structured to make the most of timing, with earlier departures helping groups reach key sites ahead of the crowds — a detail that makes a noticeable difference at busy locations like James Bond Island. Good to know: Specific tour schedules, pricing, and availability are not listed online, so contact the team directly at the Royal Phuket Marina address to confirm options before planning your trip. For water-based activities, quick-dry clothing, secure footwear, and reliable sun protection are practical essentials. If drinks are a consideration, one visitor noted a limited selection of sugar-free options on board, so bringing your own preferred beverages may be worth considering.

Visitor Reviews

We had an amazing day trip to the Phi Phi Islands by speedboat! The whole experience was well-organized, with stunning scenery and great snorkeling spots. Our guide, Ohma, made the day even better — he was cheerful, kind, and always ready to help with a smile. He kept the group laughing and made sure everyone felt comfortable and included. Overall, it was a smooth, fun, and unforgettable day — highly recommended!

Very cool canyoning tour! Tommy was the best guide – very communicative, friendly, and always open for jokes, which made the tour warm, fun, and unforgettable. The atmosphere was relaxed and positive from start to finish. The price was totally fair and worth every baht. I highly recommend this tour to anyone looking for adventure and great memories!

Had an amazing trip today on the James Bond Tour with Joey and the team on Amazing Boat 12. We were one of the earlier boats to reach each location so we had some quiet time before the crowd set in. Would definitely recommend anyone who wants to go on this tour to sign up with them.

Tips for Visiting Activities & Tours

Vet Elephant Sanctuaries

Only visit sanctuaries that prohibit riding, use no chains or bullhooks, and let elephants roam freely. Elephant Nature Park in Chiang Mai set the standard. If a place offers painting shows or circus tricks, walk away.

Book Through Klook or GetYourGuide

These platforms offer instant confirmation, free cancellation on most activities, and prices that are often lower than walk-up rates. Compare with local agencies for multi-day trips where negotiation might save more.

Do Outdoor Activities in the Morning

Heat and humidity peak from noon to 3 PM. Schedule jungle treks, cycling tours, and outdoor cooking classes for early morning. Water activities are more flexible since you're in and out of the sea.
