The Forest by The Sky
Perched in the Phra Tamnak hills of Pattaya, The Forest by The Sky is an oceanfront restaurant and cafe that combines sweeping coastal views with a calm, unhurried atmosphere that stands apart from Pattaya's busier entertainment zones. The elevated setting delivers panoramic sea views that shift dramatically from afternoon to evening, when ocean breezes and ambient lighting give the venue a distinctly different, almost otherworldly quality.
Guests can choose between indoor air-conditioned dining and open outdoor terraces, making the venue comfortable across different times of day and weather conditions. The menu covers full meals alongside drinks, with visitors highlighting strong, well-made cocktails, rich smooth coffee, and creamy matcha drinks as particular standouts. Service is consistently praised for being attentive without being intrusive, and the kitchen moves at a pace that suits relaxed dining. The venue accommodates both casual drop-ins and larger groups with equal ease, making it a practical choice for solo travellers and parties alike.

Reviews from Google
We had a party of 11 for lunch. Some had eaten here before and some had not. The view and location are beautiful. The staff are incredible. They do not smother you, but they take care of you. The food was amazing. With 11 people, we had a plethora of dishes and everyone tasting a little of each dish.
Delicious food. Good service. Beautiful view and atmosphere. You can choose indoor air conditioned room or outdoor patio overlooking the sea. A very pleasant experience.
Such a stunning spot! The view of the ocean is absolutely breathtaking — the perfect backdrop for a relaxing afternoon. The coffee was rich and smooth, the matcha drink creamy and refreshing, and the cakes were deliciously indulgent. You can really unwind here with the sound of the waves and a gentle breeze. Excellent drinks, desserts, and atmosphere — can’t recommend this place enough!

Tips for Visiting Activities & Tours
Vet Elephant Sanctuaries
Only visit sanctuaries that prohibit riding, use no chains or bullhooks, and let elephants roam freely. Elephant Nature Park in Chiang Mai set the standard. If a place offers painting shows or circus tricks, walk away.
Book Popular Activities Online
Booking platforms like GetYourGuide give you instant confirmation and, on many activities, free cancellation — and you can read recent reviews before committing. Compare with local agencies for multi-day trips where negotiation might save more.
Do Outdoor Activities in the Morning
Heat and humidity peak from noon to 3 PM. Schedule jungle treks, cycling tours, and outdoor cooking classes for early morning. Water activities are more flexible since you're in and out of the sea.
