The Forest by The Sky
Perched in the Phra Tamnak area of Pattaya, The Forest by The Sky is an oceanfront restaurant and cafe that draws visitors with its sweeping sea views and atmospheric setting. The combination of indoor air-conditioned dining and open outdoor terraces means guests can choose their preferred level of comfort while taking in the coastal scenery, whether arriving for a leisurely lunch, afternoon coffee, or an evening meal. The menu spans food and drinks, with visitors noting well-crafted cocktails, smooth coffee, and creamy matcha drinks alongside full meals. The atmosphere leans relaxed and unhurried, with attentive staff who are praised for striking a balance between attentive and unobtrusive service. The setting takes on a particularly magical quality after dark, when the ocean breeze and ambient lighting create a notably different experience from Pattaya's busier entertainment zones. Mid-range pricing makes it a comfortable choice for most budgets, and the venue handles both group bookings and casual drop-ins well. Good to know: The outdoor terrace is a highlight, but visiting during the cooler months between November and February makes the open-air seating considerably more comfortable given Pattaya's humidity. For groups, calling ahead is advisable to confirm table availability, as the venue's combination of views and atmosphere makes it a popular choice for lunch gatherings and special occasions.

Visitor Reviews
We had a party of 11 for lunch. Some had eaten here before and some had not. The view and location are beautiful. The staff are incredible. They do not smother you, but they take care of you. The food was amazing. With 11 people, we had a plethora of dishes and everyone tasting a little of each dish.
Gorgeous view! We came here for lunch on a Thursday. The food came out fast. Mai tai tastes strong enough. Friendly and fast service. Reasonable price. Super chilled and relax ambience. Strongly recommend.
Delicious food. Good service. Beautiful view and atmosphere. You can choose indoor air conditioned room or outdoor patio overlooking the sea. A very pleasant experience.
Tips for Visiting Activities & Tours
Vet Elephant Sanctuaries
Only visit sanctuaries that prohibit riding, use no chains or bullhooks, and let elephants roam freely. Elephant Nature Park in Chiang Mai set the standard. If a place offers painting shows or circus tricks, walk away.
Book Through Klook or GetYourGuide
These platforms offer instant confirmation, free cancellation on most activities, and prices that are often lower than walk-up rates. Compare with local agencies for multi-day trips where negotiation might save more.
Do Outdoor Activities in the Morning
Heat and humidity peak from noon to 3 PM. Schedule jungle treks, cycling tours, and outdoor cooking classes for early morning. Water activities are more flexible since you're in and out of the sea.
