The Lunar Beach House
Perched on the clifftop at Cozy Beach in the Nong Prue area of Pattaya, The Lunar Beach House is a café, wine bar, and bar offering some of the most striking ocean views along this stretch of coastline. The setting is relaxed and stylish, with comfortable seating and considered décor that encourages visitors to linger rather than rush. It functions equally well as a spot for a morning coffee, a leisurely brunch, or an afternoon drink as the sun moves across the water.
The menu covers both Thai and Western dishes, with standout options including a salmon croissant, potato wedges with melted cheese, and a mocha freddo. Desserts receive consistent praise, and the breakfast selection is notably broad. Meals are cooked to order rather than served fast-food style, so dishes take a little time to arrive — a pace that suits the unhurried, scenic atmosphere well.
A practical detail worth noting: The Lunar Beach House is reportedly the only clifftop café at Cozy Beach open from 8am, making it a reliable early option when neighbouring venues are still closed. Arriving in the morning allows visitors to enjoy the views in cooler temperatures before the midday heat sets in. No website is currently listed, so those visiting during the busier cool-season months between November and February may find it simplest to arrive early and secure seating directly.

Reviews from Google
The chillest of all the cliff top cafes at Cozy Beach. Grab a coffee & enjoy the morning views from 8am. It is the only cafe here on the cliff top that is open so early and it has maybe the best breakfast & brunch menu I have seen anywhere in Pattaya. Definitely my vibe. It is a great place to chill & reward yourself after some early morning exercise, or at any time of day, but prices definitely reflect the beautiful view.
Beautiful ocean view and really comfy seating with nice decor. The food was tasty and good value – the mocha freddo was creamy and delicious, potato wedges were soft with perfectly melted cheese, the pomelo salad was refreshing with juicy spicy shrimp, and the soft shell crab was crispy yet soft inside. Chill, private spot with unique flavors – would come back again!
Nice place for breakfast. My fav one is: salmon croissant and coffee. There’s a huge choice of food, though. Always happy to come back. Should be noted: this is not a fast food place, they cook food; therefore, it takes time.

Tips for Visiting Restaurants & Food
Learn the Spice Scale
Say 'mai pet' for no spice, 'pet nit noi' for a little spice, or 'pet mak' if you want it Thai-hot. Most cooks will default to a toned-down version for foreigners unless you specify otherwise.
Follow the Crowds
The busiest street stalls are almost always the best — high turnover means fresh ingredients and a recipe that locals vouch for. An empty restaurant at dinner time is a red flag.
Ice Is Safe
Factory-made tube or cylinder ice (used in virtually all restaurants and stalls) is made from purified water and is safe to consume. You don't need to skip the iced Thai tea.
