Paradise Beach Pattaya

4.3(204 reviews)

Tucked away down Soi 4 from Sunset Boulevard, this small sandy beach offers a noticeably quieter alternative to Pattaya's busier shorelines. The beach is compact in size but benefits from clear, shallow water that makes it accessible for swimmers of all ages, including families with young children. Shaded areas, sun loungers, and umbrellas are available to rent, and a handful of bars and restaurants with authentic Thai food sellers round out the amenities without overwhelming the low-key atmosphere.

The beach is largely shared between a couple of nearby hotels and a small number of visitors at any given time, which keeps it feeling relatively private compared to the main Pattaya strips. The westward-facing position makes it a particularly appealing spot for watching the sunset, and the shallow, clear water adds to the visual appeal during the drier months. Lounger rentals and nearby dining options mean visitors can comfortably spend a half or full day here without needing to venture far.

A lovely sandy beach with authentic Thai sellers and a couple of bars. Loungers and umbrellas available to rent. Water is shallow so good for all ages. Only shared by a couple of hotels and private gated communities therefore not too busy. Would definitely recommend for a nice day by the water.

Nice, cozy, and quiet beach. I was there in January when the water decreased, the view was stunning with the green creature. The best place to watch the sunset.

Update Green Pattaya cleaned this beach again on 20210812. Please try to take your rubbish upstairs with you. Nobody will pick up the rubbish at the beach. We clean this beach and nice sadly need another clean. Half of the beach is gone in the wrong tide and very dirty. Still better than the bigger Pattaya beach.

Tips for Visiting Beaches

Check Monsoon Windows

Andaman coast beaches (Phuket, Krabi) have rough seas May–October. Gulf beaches (Samui, Hua Hin) are roughest October–December. Plan your beach trip around these windows for calm water and safe swimming.

Go Early for Empty Sand

Even the busiest beaches are nearly deserted before 9 AM. Sunrise walks on Kata, Chaweng, or Railay are magical — and you'll beat the heat for a morning swim.

Use Reef-Safe Sunscreen

Many Thai marine parks ban chemical sunscreens that damage coral. Bring reef-safe (mineral/zinc-based) sunscreen from home — it's harder to find and pricier in Thailand.
