Sawasdee Divers Krabi
Sawasdee Divers Krabi operates out of Ao Nang and specialises in scuba diving instruction and guided dive trips across some of Krabi's most rewarding underwater sites, including the Local Islands and Phi Phi Islands. The centre caters to a wide range of experience levels, from complete beginners taking their first breaths underwater through PADI Discover Scuba Diving courses to certified divers joining recreational trips. Instructors are consistently praised by visitors for their patience, clear briefings, and attentiveness in the water, and the operation is noted for well-serviced, properly maintained equipment. Trips typically involve boat journeys to sites featuring coral reefs and the marine life of the Andaman Sea. Multi-day itineraries are available, with two-day packages covering multiple dive locations being a popular choice. Refreshments are provided on trips, adding a welcome touch to longer days out on the water. The Ao Nang address places the centre within easy reach of the area's accommodation and beach facilities. Good to know: The dive centre opens daily from noon to 5:00 PM, so morning arrivals should plan accordingly. Diving conditions in Krabi are at their best between November and April, and demand during this peak season is high — booking ahead is strongly recommended. Those who already hold a dive certification should bring their card, and it is worth arriving with enough time before departure to complete paperwork and equipment fitting without rushing.

Visitor Reviews
My first diving experience with team of Sawasdee Divers Krabi - Yann, Renaud, Juan was really amazing. The best team ever and team was provided the best care and service of scuba diving in Krabi. Definitely I will go back for next course. Thank you so much team!
I was visiting Krabi for three days and decided to do a PADI Discover Scuba Diving course with Sawasdee Divers. Yann was extremely patient and took the time to explain everything clearly, answering all my questions and putting me at ease from the start. Our dive was with Renauld, who was fantastic. He made sure we were comfortable and safe throughout the entire dive, which made the experience even more enjoyable. Tash and Juan were also on the boat with their clients and added to the fun, relaxed atmosphere. Between the two dives, we were treated to freshly cut fruit, and after the second dive there was a simple yet satisfying lunch of rice, chicken, and vegetables. Overall, it was a great experience, and I would highly recommend Sawasdee Divers to anyone diving in Krabi.
Had an amazing 2-day diving trip with Sawasdee Divers Krabi! We visited both the Local Islands and Phi Phi Islands, and the underwater scenery was breathtaking. A huge shoutout to our instructor, Tash! She was incredibly patient and made us feel so safe as beginner divers. She is very knowledgeable and pointed out so many different fish species along the way. We were lucky enough to see lobsters and even sharks! 🤩 If you're a beginner, I highly recommend booking with them and asking for Tash. She’s the best!

Tips for Visiting Activities & Tours
Vet Elephant Sanctuaries
Only visit sanctuaries that prohibit riding, use no chains or bullhooks, and let elephants roam freely. Elephant Nature Park in Chiang Mai set the standard. If a place offers painting shows or circus tricks, walk away.
Book Through Klook or GetYourGuide
These platforms offer instant confirmation, free cancellation on most activities, and prices that are often lower than walk-up rates. Compare with local agencies for multi-day trips where negotiation might save more.
Do Outdoor Activities in the Morning
Heat and humidity peak from noon to 3 PM. Schedule jungle treks, cycling tours, and outdoor cooking classes for early morning. Water activities are more flexible since you're in and out of the sea.
