Discovery Divers

We did our Open Water here and it was an absolutely fantastic experience. Right from the start we felt very comfortable and in good hands. Pierre was our instructor and simply great! He taught everything calmly, patiently and very competently. With his positive vibe, he put us at ease and ensured that we felt relaxed and well looked after at all times. The dives themselves were wonderful and perfectly organized. We would do our diving course here again at any time and can wholeheartedly recommend the diving school and especially Pierre!

A fantastic experience as a first-time diver and thrilled to obtain the open water certificate with instructor Filip! Filip is such a warm and encouraging person, his instructions were precise and easy to follow. I didn’t panicked a lot because I know he is by my side, and when you did well, he made sure to cheer for you and that really helped me gain the confidence. Love the atmosphere among the crew, the instructors, captain, crew and participants all came from different countries and they are all friendly and chilled, you can tell it’s a good team! I recommend Discovery Divers if you are planning to learn diving in Samui - and look out for Filip and get him as your instructor if you could!

It was our first time diving and we opted for the Discover Scuba one-day, two-dives package and went to Sail Rock. Our instructors Joe and Gustavo were absolutely fantastic. I didn’t know what to expect so I was really nervous but excited. The crew were so friendly and knowledgeable, and from the minute they started briefing us when we walked in to the moment we were getting off the boat at the end, they were great company. I was genuinely so grateful to be in such capable hands. They were so patient, explained everything in detail (as many times as I asked) and Joe brought me back up to the surface as many times as I needed till I was accustomed to the dive environment. Never made me feel rushed or pressured. I was worried at the start that this experience would maybe be one of those once-in-a-lifetime, one-and-done things, but no, not at all. Their passion and love for the sport was so evident and infectious I’m now itching to go back and am definitely going to look to get my certification next! We were picked up and dropped off directly at our hotel. Food was included and lunch was quick, light, and very tasty. If you’re interested (but rightfully nervous) like me, I would say take the dive (excuse the pun). You may not like it, but you may also fall in love with it, and what you see under there isn’t comparable to anything I’ve seen in marine documentaries. You won’t know until you try, and there’s no better moment than this.
