Chansom Memorial Bridge (Khua Khaek)

A footbridge across the Ping River. This is a location for viewing people releasing water lanterns during the Loy Krathong Festival. Just last month, the River below overflowed and flooded both sides. Causing lots of losses and damage to property and homes nearby. Even the Warorot Market has been closed temporarily in November.
Love this place! 🌉 Especially at night, you can feel fresh air waving through the river and beautiful views under night lights. Please avoid midday, the highest UV will make you burn 😆
A very useful pedestrian bridge over the River Ping from Warorot Market in the west to Wat Ketkaram in the east. Great for photography too. It has an attractive mural at the east end.
