Visitor Reviews
This was one of the best day trips l have done anywhere! We did the full day tour to Doisuthep, Hidden Temple, Orchid Farm, and Sticky Waterfall. The scenery and temples were stunning, probably the most beautiful we have seen in Thailand. We had the most amazing guide - Yosita. She was incredibly knowledgeable and caring, and she took fantastic photos of us all day, so we could enjoy our gorgeous surroundings, without having to worry about taking photos. She took us to a wonderful place for lunch, with delicious food in a beautiful setting. I honestly can’t recommend this tour and guide enough! Deborah
Amazing experience! Such a seamless booking process - we walked in to the shop and were immediately greeted and invited to see Nicky, who was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. She asked us attentive questions and advised us to the best tour that would suit our needs. Nicky paired us with the Chiang Mai Good Tour company - thank you to Rainy and Mr Tiger who had excellent knowledge and care to our needs. Thank you so much! I left a full review of the trip in more detail on their Google Page We did the Doi Inthanon (no trek) day tour which included beautiful waterfall visit, twin pagoda, short walk through a nature trail, visits to the local village for coffee & tea tasting, a lovely local lunch. Even though there were so many activities in one day, we had free time to roam around and take breaks. Will definitely visit again to do the full bike tour!
We had a wonderful experience with this tour. We found a brochure in our Hotel. Booking was simple and communication was very good. They drove us about an hour away from Chiang Mai where we spent time with elephants, Went On bamboo rafts down a beautiful river, Spent sometime with the white Karen tribe, Had lunch and then enjoyed a waterfall. The Guide was so kind, and never made us feel rushed. I would highly recommend this tour. One tip, if you get motion sick Easily. You might want to take something as the road in the mountains is quite curvy. When our Guide noticed that I was feeling sick, he made space for me in the front, and the ride home was a lot better.

Tips for Visiting Activities & Tours
Vet Elephant Sanctuaries
Only visit sanctuaries that prohibit riding, use no chains or bullhooks, and let elephants roam freely. Elephant Nature Park in Chiang Mai set the standard. If a place offers painting shows or circus tricks, walk away.
Book Through Klook or GetYourGuide
These platforms offer instant confirmation, free cancellation on most activities, and prices that are often lower than walk-up rates. Compare with local agencies for multi-day trips where negotiation might save more.
Do Outdoor Activities in the Morning
Heat and humidity peak from noon to 3 PM. Schedule jungle treks, cycling tours, and outdoor cooking classes for early morning. Water activities are more flexible since you're in and out of the sea.
