Roschas Culinary School
Roschas Culinary School offers immersive Thai cooking classes in the Phyathai district of Bangkok, guided by Chef Wip, whose expertise, warmth, and engaging teaching style have earned consistent praise from visitors. The school draws food enthusiasts from around the world, from first-time cooks to those with prior culinary class experience, making it a welcoming environment for a wide range of skill levels. Participants can expect a well-structured, hands-on session where they learn to prepare authentic Thai dishes from scratch. Chef Wip is known for sharing generous culinary knowledge, breaking down techniques in a way that feels both accessible and genuinely educational. The curriculum appears to rotate across different Thai cuisines, giving repeat visitors something new to discover. Groups and pairs tend to get the most out of the experience, as there are more opportunities to sample each other's dishes and capture photos of the process. Located on Sri Ayutthaya Road in the Ratchathewi area, the school is reasonably central and accessible within Bangkok. As opening hours and pricing are not publicly listed, prospective visitors are advised to reach out directly to confirm session availability, group sizes, and what to bring before booking. Given the intimate and personalised nature of the classes, booking in advance is strongly recommended to secure a spot.

Visitor Reviews
My first Thai Culinary experience. Chef Whip was pleasant, professional, knowledgeable, engaging, and was willing to share so much of her culinary fountain of knowledge. In one session, she had us put together a soup, main dish, and dessert. She is easy to understand and very professional. The class was replete with valuable information that will affect my cooking skills and lifestyle forever. It was highly organized. I’m not from Thailand but would do it again in the future. Highly recommended. The certificate of completion brings the whole experience to another level. They have other students studying to be professional chefs. Thank you Ms Whip for an excellent culinary adventure.
Amazing cooking experience!! Highly recommend to go in pairs or a group, not only you can taste others cooking but also got a few more hands for the photos. Those dishes are favourite Thai food and are not too complicated to follow (...much more relaxed than imagine), so it is for everyone! Apart from a little drama (late pick up due to heavy traffic, I guess it's welcome to Bangkok) in picking up from BTS station, the whole user experience was five stars. They will place you on the top floor to enjoy your cooking and cocktail on the rooftop next to the swimming, somewhat meaningful way to spend our afternoon. By the way, it is not a long walk from BTS to the venue.
Our family had an absolute blast at Roschas Culinary School in Bangkok! Chef Wip was a superstar, her expert guidance and vibrant personality transformed our first cooking class into a joyful family adventure. She patiently guided us through each step, making it fun and accessible. The professional kitchen was top-notch, and cooking with authentic Thai ingredients while wearing aprons made us feel like true chefs! We were pleasantly surprised by the arrangement to enjoy our creations at the stunning rooftop restaurant, set against Bangkok’s skyline. I highly recommend sharing this unique experience with family and friends!
Tips for Visiting Activities & Tours
Vet Elephant Sanctuaries
Only visit sanctuaries that prohibit riding, use no chains or bullhooks, and let elephants roam freely. Elephant Nature Park in Chiang Mai set the standard. If a place offers painting shows or circus tricks, walk away.
Book Through Klook or GetYourGuide
These platforms offer instant confirmation, free cancellation on most activities, and prices that are often lower than walk-up rates. Compare with local agencies for multi-day trips where negotiation might save more.
Do Outdoor Activities in the Morning
Heat and humidity peak from noon to 3 PM. Schedule jungle treks, cycling tours, and outdoor cooking classes for early morning. Water activities are more flexible since you're in and out of the sea.
