Laguna Lifestyle Night Market

One night a week, that's it. Saturdays from 5pm to 10pm on Cherngtalay Road in Choeng Thale, and if you miss that window you're waiting seven days. Plan accordingly, because plenty of people staying at Laguna or Bang Tao turn up on a Tuesday and find an empty lot.

What you get is a modest open-air spread of stalls selling clothing, accessories, handicrafts, casual lifestyle bits, and street food vendors to graze between them. It's small. Don't come expecting the scale of the big Phuket Town or Patong markets, and don't make a special trip across the island for it. But if you're already in the Laguna, Bang Tao or Surin Beach pocket and want somewhere to wander for an hour or two after the beach, it does the job nicely. The pace is unhurried, the crowd is largely local, and the evening air makes it far more comfortable than any daytime market here.

My advice is to arrive not long after 5pm, when the stalls are fresh and you can actually move. It'll still be warm, so wear something light.
