Betel Palm Village - Casa Retreat
Betel Palm Village - Casa Retreat is a peaceful lodging option nestled in the green outskirts of Pai, offering a calm escape without sacrificing convenience. Rooms are modern, clean, and well-appointed, with comfortable beds and spacious balconies that guests consistently highlight as ideal spots for morning coffee or simply soaking in the pastoral atmosphere. A resident black cat adds a touch of charm to the property's relaxed, welcoming character. The location strikes a practical balance — quiet and surrounded by nature, yet within walking distance of Pai's Walking Street, making it equally suited to those who want to explore town and those who prefer to unwind. Staff are responsive and attentive, with daily room cleaning offered at a time that suits each guest. Communication via email has been noted as particularly reliable for those arranging stays in advance. For travellers without their own transport, having a motorbike is recommended to get the most out of the surrounding area and reach the property with ease. As a relatively new establishment, the facilities feel fresh and well-maintained. Prospective guests are advised to reach out by email when booking or making enquiries, as this appears to be the most effective way to connect with the management team.

Visitor Reviews
We stayed for a whole week here, loved the place, it’s quiet and the location is great if you have a motorbike. She cleans your room everyday whenever is convenient for you. The balcony is big and comfortable for chilling. The only downside was the fact that we didn’t have much privacy because we stayed at the first house, and that the air con didn’t reach the bed so at night it was pretty warm. Highly recommended
I stayed here for a week and absolutely loved it! The room was clean and cozy, and the bed was super comfortable. The balcony was my favorite spot - perfect for enjoying my morning coffee or getting some work done on my laptop. The location was ideal, just a short walk to the walking street, yet the area was peaceful and quiet. I’ll definitely stay here again next time I visit Pai ☺️💜
Took a chance on a relatively new business and it was definitely worth it. I was happy with rooms, service and location. The best way to stay in touch with managers was email, they were always prompt with replies. Spent 1 week here it started to feel like home before I left, very comfortable.

Tips for Visiting Wellness & Spas
Learn Wat Pho First
Wat Pho in Bangkok is the birthplace of traditional Thai massage education. Their on-site massage pavilion offers excellent treatments from students and graduates at reasonable prices — and you know the technique is authentic.
Communicate Pressure Preferences
Thai massage can be intense. Say 'bao bao' for lighter pressure or 'nак nак' for harder. A good therapist will check in, but don't hesitate to speak up — suffering in silence defeats the purpose.
Book Longer Sessions
A 60-minute massage is fine, but 90 or 120 minutes allows the therapist to work thoroughly. The price difference is often only 200–400 THB for an extra hour — worth it for a deeper, more relaxing experience.
