Reserve Spa

4.9(25 reviews)

Tucked within the Centara Reserve resort in Bo Put on Koh Samui's north coast, this spa offers a curated menu of wellness treatments in an intimate, upscale setting. The experience is designed to feel personal rather than transactional, with guests welcomed attentively from the moment they arrive. Signature treatments such as "Sound of Bamboo Growing" and "Whispers of the Wind" draw repeat visitors, and the therapists — several of whom are named consistently in guest reviews — are noted for their skill and attentiveness. Couples aromatherapy massages and signature bodywork sessions are among the popular choices, with facilities including a steam room and sauna available alongside treatment bookings. The atmosphere leans toward refined calm, making it well suited to travellers seeking genuine relaxation rather than a quick tourist massage. The spa sits within a hotel property, which lends it a polished, resort-quality environment without sacrificing the personal touch that smaller wellness venues often pride themselves on. The spa is open seven days a week from 10:00 to 20:00, making it accessible for both morning and late-afternoon appointments. As it operates within a resort, non-hotel guests are welcome, though booking in advance is advisable — particularly during peak season when availability can be limited. Arriving a little early allows time to use the sauna and steam room before a treatment, which several visitors recommend as part of the full experience.

Visitor Reviews

Since my first treatments a year ago at this spa I've been dreaming of coming back. On the back of many other luxury hotel spa experiences this does truly stand out. Upon arrival you are greeting with a tasty energizing drink alongside a cooling face/hand towel and some jellies. While you are waiting for your therapist you get to choose the sent of oil you want to use for your massage. Unlike in other Spas, here you do not fill out the form about preferences and previous illnesses yourself, rather a member of the staff will fill it out for you. Then your therapist will pick you up from reception and guide you to the treatment that is beautifully set up. The entire Spa facilities are so tastefully designed - I love it. What makes these experiences here stand out from all the other treatments I ever had is the dedication and professionalism with which the therapist are conducting their work. My therapist for the day was Ae. Her amazing warm hearted smile eased me immediately. And here comes the thing: yes, you can get a massage in Thailand for a fraction of the cost just in front of the hotel, but you will never get the experience that you get here. Ae made sure I would feel comfortable at all times. Whenever she was about to massage another area of my body, she would gently cares that area first, which gave me a nice feeling of reassurance - I mean after all we are laying face down naked in front of someone, so its fair to say that any kind of gesture in this sense is appreciate when you are so vulnerable. I could go on and on telling you about all the little touches and details that Ae used to make this treatment stand out from many other. You can tell the staff is very well trained and mega professional. I had another treatment with a kind girl named Oil a couple of days later and the experience was just as good - so certainly my treatment with Ae was not just a lucky coincidence. Looking forward to having more treatments here.

We recently enjoyed a couple’s aromatherapy massage at the spa in Centara Reserve, and it was absolutely amazing! The treatment lasted for an hour, and we both left feeling completely rejuvenated. The welcome drinks were refreshingly delicious, setting the perfect tone for our relaxation. The treatment room was spacious and beautifully designed, creating a serene atmosphere. The staff were attentive and continually checked in on us to ensure we were comfortable and enjoying the experience. This thoughtful approach truly elevated our spa visit. We highly recommend the spa for anyone looking to unwind and indulge in a little luxury during their stay!

The highlight of my experience was the treatment itself. The therapist (Rung) was absolutely fantastic—attentive, skilled, and truly dedicated to my wellness. It was clear that she knew exactly how to tailor the experience to my needs, leaving me feeling rejuvenated and deeply relaxed. Everything, from the customer service to the quality of the treatments, was exceptional. I left feeling completely renewed, both physically and mentally. This spa is truly a hidden gem, and I will definitely be returning soon. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful and rejuvenating experience!

Tips for Visiting Wellness & Spas

Learn Wat Pho First

Wat Pho in Bangkok is the birthplace of traditional Thai massage education. Their on-site massage pavilion offers excellent treatments from students and graduates at reasonable prices — and you know the technique is authentic.

Communicate Pressure Preferences

Thai massage can be intense. Say 'bao bao' for lighter pressure or 'nак nак' for harder. A good therapist will check in, but don't hesitate to speak up — suffering in silence defeats the purpose.

Book Longer Sessions

A 60-minute massage is fine, but 90 or 120 minutes allows the therapist to work thoroughly. The price difference is often only 200–400 THB for an extra hour — worth it for a deeper, more relaxing experience.
