Sa-Nga
Nestled within the Centara Reserve resort in Bo Put on Koh Samui's north coast, Sa-Nga brings a polished, contemporary approach to Thai cuisine in an atmosphere that visitors consistently describe as relaxing and refined. The restaurant draws guests looking for something beyond standard island dining, offering a creative menu where presentation and technique take centre stage alongside traditional Thai flavours. The kitchen leans toward elevated Thai cooking, with dishes that are carefully plated and thoughtfully composed. Standout items noted by diners include a pumpkin curry that has earned particular praise, and the menu is designed to surprise across each course. Flavours are nuanced rather than intensely spicy, making it a comfortable choice for those who appreciate Thai cuisine but prefer a more restrained heat level. Staff are frequently highlighted for their attentiveness and confident food recommendations, contributing meaningfully to the overall experience. Sa-Nga operates Tuesday through Sunday, with dinner service running from 18:00 to 22:30, and is closed on Mondays. Given its resort setting and the consistently high regard it receives from diners, booking a table in advance is advisable, particularly during the high season. Guests can visit the Centara Hotels and Resorts website to explore the menu and make reservations before arriving.

Visitor Reviews
Sa-Nga offers a beautiful setting, great service, and well-executed Thai cuisine with a refined touch. While the flavors may not be intensely authentic or spicy, the overall experience is polished, enjoyable, and definitely worth visiting when staying in Koh Samui. A special mention goes to Prim, our server, who was incredibly friendly, attentive, and warm throughout the evening. She made us feel genuinely welcomed and well taken care of, which elevated the entire dining experience.
If you’re in Ko Samui and are willing to experience a new restaurant and concept, don’t hesitate no more! The food and atmosphere were amazing, relaxing and refreshing, exactly what we were looking for. Thanks to Eve and Namwarn, their service and hospitality were so great, thank you to making this evening a great moment for my wife and I.
We had amazing culinary experience in Sa-Nga. It was so creative and all the plates were full of surprises. We ordered ala carte 4 dishes plus one dessert. Our favourite was pumpkin curry. It's a shame that we were the only customers at the night. Many tourists don't know that Thai cuisine developed at this level.

Tips for Visiting Restaurants & Food
Learn the Spice Scale
Say 'mai pet' for no spice, 'pet nit noi' for a little spice, or 'pet mak' if you want it Thai-hot. Most cooks will default to a toned-down version for foreigners unless you specify otherwise.
Follow the Crowds
The busiest street stalls are almost always the best — high turnover means fresh ingredients and a recipe that locals vouch for. An empty restaurant at dinner time is a red flag.
Ice Is Safe
Factory-made tube or cylinder ice (used in virtually all restaurants and stalls) is made from purified water and is safe to consume. You don't need to skip the iced Thai tea.
