Eranda Spa
Tucked into the quieter Bo Put area of Koh Samui, Eranda Spa offers a dedicated wellness retreat combining lush tropical greenery, ocean views, and luxurious treatment rooms in a setting that consistently draws praise for its calm, unhurried atmosphere. The spa specialises in massage and bodywork therapies, including aromatherapy oil massages, signature massages, and facial treatments such as gold leaf facials, with therapists known for tailoring sessions to individual needs — addressing specific areas of tension and adjusting pressure on request. Guests are welcomed with a ginger drink on arrival, setting a considered, personalised tone from the outset. The treatment rooms are well-appointed and the surrounding environment — abundant greenery and views toward the water — contributes meaningfully to the overall experience. The combination of attentive therapists and a genuinely tranquil setting makes it a popular choice for travellers looking to incorporate wellness into their Koh Samui visit, whether as a standalone experience or a way to unwind toward the end of a stay. Good to know: Eranda Spa is open every day of the week from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM, offering flexibility for both morning and evening appointments. Advance booking is strongly recommended during peak season from December through February, when availability fills quickly. The official website at erandaspa.com allows visitors to review treatments and make reservations ahead of time.

Visitor Reviews
A place where body and mind truly slow down We had a 90-minute aromatherapy oil massage at Eranda Herbal Spa and it was simply wonderful. From the moment you arrive, you feel that this place is special. Surrounded by lush greenery, open wooden pavilions and a very calm, welcoming atmosphere, it immediately invites you to relax. After a day full of impressions on Koh Samui, this was exactly what we needed. We were greeted very warmly by Kwang, who accompanied us with such kindness and genuine care. From the first welcome to the end of our visit, she made us feel completely at ease and truly looked after. Her calm presence set the perfect tone for the entire experience. The massage itself was outstanding – very attentive, mindful and perfectly balanced. I chose jasmine oil, my wife coconut – both scents were subtle, natural and deeply relaxing. After the treatment, we sat in the garden with tea and enjoyed that rare feeling of complete calm, where both body and mind are fully at ease. Eranda is not just a spa, but a true place of relaxation and mindfulness. For us, it was one of the highlights of our trip and we would come back anytime. Highly recommended from the heart. Thank you to Kwang and the entire team for this beautiful experience 🙏🌿
It is amazing spa on Koh Samui. I loved Eranda Spa from the first glance for its serene environment with lots of greenery around. I came there to make a gold leaf facial treatment and I really enjoyed it. I got 90 minutes of blessing facial massage. It looks more costly than other facial treatments but it is definitely worth the level of quality. Thank you very much, my massage therapist Doung for the quality of the treatment and to Kwang, who met me at the Reception and friendly introduced to everything what I would go through.
Best massage and spa on the island by faaaar! Premium service, premium view, premium massage. You are welcomed with a gingery drink and asked about the focus point and the pressure level. You have the option to shower before and after the massage. The rooms are so serene with a gorgeous view. Once done they give you a hot lemongrass drink and some local biscuits. You leave with a very relaxed body and mind

Learn Wat Pho First
Wat Pho in Bangkok is the birthplace of traditional Thai massage education. Their on-site massage pavilion offers excellent treatments from students and graduates at reasonable prices — and you know the technique is authentic.
Communicate Pressure Preferences
Thai massage can be intense. Say 'bao bao' for lighter pressure or 'nак nак' for harder. A good therapist will check in, but don't hesitate to speak up — suffering in silence defeats the purpose.
Book Longer Sessions
A 60-minute massage is fine, but 90 or 120 minutes allows the therapist to work thoroughly. The price difference is often only 200–400 THB for an extra hour — worth it for a deeper, more relaxing experience.
