Tree Tops Signature Dining
Perched among the trees in the Bo Put area of northern Koh Samui, Tree Tops Signature Dining offers a fine dining experience that blends dramatic natural surroundings with refined cuisine. Guests are guided along intimate pathways beneath twinkling lights to private balconies nestled in the canopy — a setting that visitors consistently describe as magical and unlike anything else on the island. The kitchen focuses on carefully composed dishes with considered flavour combinations, making it a strong choice for those seeking something well beyond the typical island restaurant. The atmosphere leans toward the romantic and celebratory, drawing guests who are marking special occasions such as birthdays, anniversaries, and milestones. Service is attentive and detail-oriented, with staff noted for going above and beyond to create a memorable evening. The private, semi-secluded dining spaces mean the experience feels personal rather than crowded, even during busy periods. Tree Tops operates exclusively in the evenings, opening at 6:00 PM and closing at 11:00 PM every day of the week, giving diners a generous five-hour window for an unhurried meal. Given the intimate nature of the venue and its popularity for special occasions, advance reservations are strongly recommended, particularly during peak season between December and February. Prospective guests can view the current menu and make bookings directly through the restaurant's website before arrival.

Visitor Reviews
My dining experience at Tree Tops was nothing short of spectacular. From the moment I arrived, it was clear that they go above and beyond with impeccable attention to detail, outstanding service, and truly exceptional food. I dined at the Four Seasons the night before and thought it was….fine/nothing special, but after experiencing Tree Tops, my only regret from my time in Koh Samui is that I wasted a night of fine dining at the Four Seasons and not two nights at Tree Tops instead. Every course was beautifully presented, and the flavors were thoughtful, balanced, and memorable. The tree house room with amazing views just added to an already perfect experience. What truly elevated the evening was the staff. Chacha, Eric, and Golf were warm, engaging, and genuinely fun. Their attentiveness and sense of humor made the experience feel special. I cannot wait to come back to Koh Samui, specifically to return to Tree Tops. Thank you for such an unforgettable evening!
I dined at Tree Tops to celebrate my 28th birthday, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. This was truly the best fine dining experience I’ve ever had. From the ambiance of the dining space to the presentation of each course, everything was absolutely phenomenal. I had the Earth and Ocean 8-course meal, and “delicious” doesn’t even begin to describe it. Every dish was crafted with so much detail and care. What made the evening truly unforgettable, though, was the genuine hospitality I received from Dada and Eric. They made my birthday extra special and took such wonderful care of me. I usually celebrate my birthday on my own, so having such a warm, attentive staff made the night feel incredibly meaningful. I left feeling happy, appreciated, and grateful for an experience I’ll never forget. Highly, highly recommend Tree Tops! 🌟
This place is truly magical, as if we had stepped into a fairytale, with little pathways in the trees and soft, twinkling lights all around. Our dinner was served on a private little balcony, and we were welcomed by the kindest people. Golf and Eric took care of us with such warmth and heart, it felt as though they were part of our own family. They served the chef’s exquisite dishes one after another, each more delicious than the last. At times, we truly felt we would have been happy if they had joined us for dinner, not as staff, but as close friends. This place will remain a sweer memory for us, with all of its magic :)

Tips for Visiting Restaurants & Food
Learn the Spice Scale
Say 'mai pet' for no spice, 'pet nit noi' for a little spice, or 'pet mak' if you want it Thai-hot. Most cooks will default to a toned-down version for foreigners unless you specify otherwise.
Follow the Crowds
The busiest street stalls are almost always the best — high turnover means fresh ingredients and a recipe that locals vouch for. An empty restaurant at dinner time is a red flag.
Ice Is Safe
Factory-made tube or cylinder ice (used in virtually all restaurants and stalls) is made from purified water and is safe to consume. You don't need to skip the iced Thai tea.
