Chaloem Phrakiat Park
Chaloem Phrakiat Park is a compact green space situated along the coastline in Hua Hin, offering direct access to the beach alongside basic recreational facilities. Rather than a sprawling cultural site, it functions as a neighbourhood park where locals and visitors gather to exercise, relax, and enjoy the sea air. Fitness equipment for adults, a small playground for younger children, and a handful of tables make it a practical stop for families looking for a low-key outing away from the busier parts of town. The atmosphere shifts noticeably throughout the day. Mornings draw joggers and those looking for a quiet workout, while evenings bring a livelier feel with street food vendors setting up nearby, making it a reasonable spot to graze on local snacks after a walk. The beach access is modest rather than expansive, and the park itself is small, so expectations are best kept in proportion. Good to know: The park is best visited in the morning for a calmer experience, as it can become crowded in the evening. Visitors have noted the presence of stray dogs in the surrounding area, so some caution is advisable when approaching on foot. There are no confirmed opening hours, but the space is generally accessible during daylight. It works well as a brief stop rather than a primary destination, and pairs conveniently with a walk along the nearby road, which visitors find suitable for running.

Visitor Reviews
Charming Little Seaside Walk A sweet and relaxing spot by the sea, perfect for a short family outing. It’s especially nice for younger kids, with a few small playground structures and some basic fitness equipment. The breeze is gentle, the view is lovely, and the atmosphere is calm definitely a nice place to take a break or enjoy a peaceful walk.
Lovely little oasis , small green park with access to the beach.
Nice place to do some morning sport or breakfast. In the evening, it’s a little bit too busy to do sport but next to it there is a long road very quiet suitable for running. There’s almost no beach but stairs that’s going straight in to the ocean. No alcohol allowing.

Tips for Visiting Temples & Culture
Dress Modestly
Cover shoulders and knees at all temples. Carry a light scarf or sarong — some temples lend wraps, but not all. Shoes come off before entering any building with a Buddha image.
Mind Your Feet
Never point your feet at a Buddha image or a monk — it's considered deeply disrespectful. When sitting inside a temple, tuck your feet behind you or to the side.
Ask Before Photographing
Exterior photos are almost always fine, but some interior halls prohibit photography. Look for signs, and never pose irreverently with Buddha images — it's a legal offense in Thailand.
