Yada Kitchen
Positioned directly on Khao San Road in the Phra Nakhon district of central Bangkok, this Thai restaurant carves out a reliable late-night dining option in one of the city's most energetic neighbourhoods. Operating exclusively during evening and overnight hours — from 8 PM through to 5 AM — it serves travellers and locals alike when most other kitchens have closed. The menu centres on Thai staples, with pad thai and pad see ew among the dishes visitors return for most often. Repeat visits are a recurring theme in guest feedback, with several travellers noting they came back multiple times during a single trip. Portions are consistently described as generous, and pricing sits on the affordable end for the area. The kitchen operates in an open or visible setting, meaning diners can observe food preparation before committing to a table — a useful detail given that consistency can vary depending on who is cooking on a given night. Good to know: The restaurant is only open from Monday evenings through early Tuesday morning, so travellers should confirm current weekly hours before planning a visit. Khao San Road peaks in atmosphere between 9 and 11 PM, when crowds and noise are at their highest — arriving closer to midnight or after tends to offer a calmer experience. Casual dress is entirely appropriate for both the restaurant and the surrounding street. As no website is listed, checking hours directly on arrival or via Google Maps before heading out is advisable.

Visitor Reviews
My absolute favorite place to visit in Bangkok! All their dishes are delicious, made with fresh ingredients, the portions are generous, and the prices are reasonable. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! The only bad thing I can say is that it's super noisy at night since it's located in Khaosan, but it's worth it.
Friendly staff. Lunch was so delicious and at a reasonable price. Portions are enough to be feel full. Literally went back there for the dinner.
For me, the best pad thai I’ve had in Thailand. We actually ate here three times. It’s incredibly affordable, fast, and delicious.

Learn the Spice Scale
Say 'mai pet' for no spice, 'pet nit noi' for a little spice, or 'pet mak' if you want it Thai-hot. Most cooks will default to a toned-down version for foreigners unless you specify otherwise.
Follow the Crowds
The busiest street stalls are almost always the best — high turnover means fresh ingredients and a recipe that locals vouch for. An empty restaurant at dinner time is a red flag.
Ice Is Safe
Factory-made tube or cylinder ice (used in virtually all restaurants and stalls) is made from purified water and is safe to consume. You don't need to skip the iced Thai tea.
