Myth I Bangkok Street food | Best mango sticky rice
Tucked along Chakrabongse Road in the historic Phra Nakhon district, this casual street food eatery has earned a devoted following among both locals and travellers for its consistently high-quality Thai cooking at genuinely budget-friendly prices. The mango sticky rice is the headline draw, but the kitchen covers considerable ground — Massaman curry, Panang curry, pad Thai, papaya salad, and pad kra pao all feature regularly, with quality that has reportedly brought some visitors back four meals in a row during the same trip. The atmosphere is relaxed and unpretentious, with plenty of seating and a pace that feels authentically Bangkok rather than tourist-facing. For plant-based travellers, the kitchen accommodates vegan and vegetarian requests with ease, including fish sauce substitutions on request, making it one of the more flexible options in the area. Seafood dishes round out a menu that offers more range than the street food setting might initially suggest. Good to know: The restaurant opens at 11:00 AM and runs until midnight every day of the week, making it a practical choice whether visiting after nearby temples in the afternoon or winding down after an evening on Khao San Road, which is a short walk away. The Phra Nakhon location sits within easy reach of several significant landmarks, so combining a meal here with wider neighbourhood exploration makes good use of the visit. Cash is the safest payment option to have on hand.

Visitor Reviews
After I walked by here earlier in the day I knew it would be the go to place for dinner, and I was not wrong. A cool spot with lots of seating and stellar Massman Curry and Panang Curry with tofu The service wa great. I believe it was about 100-120baht for the curries and 30baht for a bowl of rice. Its right in the mix so lots if things going on all around. A great spot.
Brilliant little street food place with consistently good food. Despite being in Bangkok and wanting to try different places we came here for 4 meals in a row because the food was so good and the service was friendly . Also we loved the little street atmosphere. The chefs & waiting staff in this joint are brilliant and gave us some of our best meals in Thailand. Can't recommend it enough if you want to be assured of good food 🤤
Got their papaya salad, red curry and pad thai. Asked for no fish sauce and eggs, which they were very happy to customise. The salad was too spicy for me, but the overall flavour profile in this resturant was brilliant. The pad thai just felt so light and immediately dissolved in my mouth. Their outdoor seating on a cool evening just felt right. Would 100% be back.

Tips for Visiting Restaurants & Food
Learn the Spice Scale
Say 'mai pet' for no spice, 'pet nit noi' for a little spice, or 'pet mak' if you want it Thai-hot. Most cooks will default to a toned-down version for foreigners unless you specify otherwise.
Follow the Crowds
The busiest street stalls are almost always the best — high turnover means fresh ingredients and a recipe that locals vouch for. An empty restaurant at dinner time is a red flag.
Ice Is Safe
Factory-made tube or cylinder ice (used in virtually all restaurants and stalls) is made from purified water and is safe to consume. You don't need to skip the iced Thai tea.
