Anantara Wellness
Situated along Charoen Nakhon Road on the Thonburi side of the Chao Phraya River, this wellness centre operates at the intersection of medical expertise and holistic care. Unlike a conventional day spa, Anantara Wellness takes a clinical approach to wellbeing, with a doctor on staff who conducts consultations, explains treatment protocols in detail, and tailors programmes to individual needs. The facility is described by visitors as upscale and tranquil, with amenities comparable to vitality clinics found in Western markets. Treatments span a notably broad range, including Thai traditional postpartum care, back pain consultations and treatment, and structured day packages such as the Serene Slumber programme — which combines sleep assessments, antioxidant ECGC IV drips, and additional therapeutic components. The professional setup and the presence of qualified medical staff set it apart from standard spa offerings in the city. Visitors looking to book a day package, such as the Serene Slumber experience, should plan ahead as these multi-part programmes take several hours and are best scheduled on a day with no other commitments. Those seeking treatment for specific physical concerns, such as back pain, are encouraged to request a consultation first so the team can assess and address the issue appropriately. As no website is currently listed, reaching out directly through the Anantara Riverside Bangkok resort is the most reliable way to confirm availability and current offerings.

Visitor Reviews
Highly recommended! I spent my Sunday enjoying "Serene Slumber day package" at Anantara Wellness Riverside Bangkok. There are 4 parts 1. Sleep Enrich Assessment 2. Antioxident ECGC IV Drip 3. Sweet Herbal Dream Massage 4. Revive Foot Massage First I got both massages, I fell asleep so fast and that surprised me because I barely slept during massage sessions somewhere else. Then I had the IV drip and the sleep assessment which I totally loved it. Never know that they have epigenetic test on that session also. Didi (The consultant) is an expert in this field and she gave me a very valuable advice. Also there was an afternoon tea from Mocha and Muffins in this package. The tea was so relaxing, scone was yummy and sorbet was amazing. All in all, love it and I would highly recommend anyone who want to find a great way to spend on weekend!
On Par with vitality clinics in USA. Professional staff, upscale amenities and tranquil environment. They have a MD on staff who's patient in explaining the whole process. The message therapist on staff is a gift. She's got 10years of experience at the Bangkok hospital. She's a healer; using Reiki and neurology to get into the muscle and help release the knots and blockage. I m grateful to go for professional wellness center in a city saturated with spas and wellness centers. It's not cheap because they have qualified MD, Nurse and certified therapists on staff.
Taken the Consultation and treatment from Dr.Cash for my back pain. Excellent treatment and she has explained the problem and addressed the issue correctly. Highly recommend her for your treatment.
Tips for Visiting Wellness & Spas
Learn Wat Pho First
Wat Pho in Bangkok is the birthplace of traditional Thai massage education. Their on-site massage pavilion offers excellent treatments from students and graduates at reasonable prices — and you know the technique is authentic.
Communicate Pressure Preferences
Thai massage can be intense. Say 'bao bao' for lighter pressure or 'nак nак' for harder. A good therapist will check in, but don't hesitate to speak up — suffering in silence defeats the purpose.
Book Longer Sessions
A 60-minute massage is fine, but 90 or 120 minutes allows the therapist to work thoroughly. The price difference is often only 200–400 THB for an extra hour — worth it for a deeper, more relaxing experience.
