About Wat Khlong Toei Nok Pier
Wat Khlong Toei Nok Pier is where most people cross to Bang Krachao, the green loop of orchards, canals and cycle paths on the far bank of the Chao Phraya. Boats leave from beside the temple at the end of Sunthonkosa Road in Khlong Toei and land at Bang Kachao Pier, where bike-rental stands wait. The crossing takes from about five minutes to fifteen, depending on the boat.
Small boats cost ฿10 and big ones ฿20 each way, and they run from about 06:00. Google lists the last boat at 19:00 and some guides say 20:00, so plan to be back by 19:00. Buy a return and keep the ticket, because you'll be asked for it on the way back. MRT Khlong Toei is about a 30-minute walk away, so most people take a Grab or taxi to the pier. Boats thin out after dark.
