Visitor Reviews
The Vishnu Temple is a powerful and dignified place of devotion in Bangkok, filled with a sense of stability, protection, and timeless order. The atmosphere here is calm and focused, very different from crowded tourist spots. It feels like a space meant for sincere prayer rather than quick visits. The presence of Lord Vishnu — preserver of the universe and guardian of cosmic balance — is deeply felt. The temple invites reflection, inner discipline, and trust in the natural order of life. It is a place where one can pause, ground oneself, and reconnect with purpose and responsibility. The surroundings are respectful and well maintained, encouraging silence and mindful presence. A meaningful stop for those who value tradition, balance, and spiritual clarity. : With deep respect, I offer my gratitude to Lord Vishnu, preserver of harmony and divine order. May my life remain aligned with truth, my actions be righteous, and my path protected from chaos and confusion. May stability, clarity, and right direction guide me through all changes and journeys. Thank you for balance, protection, and steady guidance.
A truly serene and peaceful experience at Sri Maha Vishnu Temple, a spiritual sanctuary right in the heart of Bangkok. We attended the early morning aarti at 7:00 am, which was beautifully calm and uplifting. The temple is very well organized, and the people here are genuinely welcoming and kind, making devotees feel comfortable and at ease. We were especially fortunate to visit on a day when there was Sahasranama chanting of the 1,008 Goddess names, which made the experience even more profound and spiritually enriching. Despite being located in a busy city, the temple feels like a quiet refuge for prayer, reflection, and devotion. ⚠️ Dress code reminder: Please dress respectfully. Women should avoid shorts or short skirts. Highly recommended for anyone seeking peace, devotion, and authentic spiritual energy in Bangkok. 🙏✨
Quite a bit hot so please bring water. You can take grab to this place it very easy and convenient. For the way back to other place if you take grab , I recommend to book grab at the main gate in main road because the pick up point for grab is inside and the traffic is so terrible.

Dress Modestly
Cover shoulders and knees at all temples. Carry a light scarf or sarong — some temples lend wraps, but not all. Shoes come off before entering any building with a Buddha image.
Mind Your Feet
Never point your feet at a Buddha image or a monk — it's considered deeply disrespectful. When sitting inside a temple, tuck your feet behind you or to the side.
Ask Before Photographing
Exterior photos are almost always fine, but some interior halls prohibit photography. Look for signs, and never pose irreverently with Buddha images — it's a legal offense in Thailand.
