Rooftop Terrace, Holiday Inn, Pattaya
Perched on the 27th floor of the Holiday Inn's second tower on Pattaya Sai 1 Road, this rooftop bar offers sweeping views across the Pattaya skyline and out toward the Gulf of Thailand. The elevated setting makes it a popular spot for evening drinks, with guests regularly noting the dramatic sunset views and the atmospheric backdrop of the city lights after dark. Food and drink options are available throughout the evening, and the outdoor terrace setting lends itself equally well to a relaxed solo drink or a special occasion with company. The atmosphere is consistently described as welcoming, with attentive staff adding to the experience. The venue has also proven itself capable of hosting more personal moments, with at least one guest crediting the team for helping arrange a marriage proposal on the terrace. Whether the evening brings clear skies or distant lightning over the Gulf, the views tend to make an impression. Good to know: the venue operates a happy hour from 5pm to 7pm every evening, when drink prices are notably more affordable than is typical for a rooftop setting. The bar opens at 5pm daily and closes at 11pm, making it well-suited to early evening visits that catch the sunset. It sits in the second Holiday Inn building rather than the main tower, so visitors should confirm the correct entrance on arrival.

Visitor Reviews
Excellent views of the Pattaya skyline. A great place to relax with friends. Plenty of options for food and drinks. It was cloudy the evening we went, but we got to see a great lightning show in the distance. We had a thunderstorm break out towards the end. Luckily they have an indoor section to take shelter in.
It was a fantastic evening at the rooftop bar of the Holiday Inn. I proposed to my girlfriend to marry me. The best manager helped to organize the event 👌!!! And a huge thank you to the team for the best service! Music, food, waiters and cuisine - AT THE TOP)))
Amazing Ambiance with very attentive and nice staff. The happy hour here is a steal 5pm to 7pm totally recommend for a evening night out

Learn the Spice Scale
Say 'mai pet' for no spice, 'pet nit noi' for a little spice, or 'pet mak' if you want it Thai-hot. Most cooks will default to a toned-down version for foreigners unless you specify otherwise.
Follow the Crowds
The busiest street stalls are almost always the best — high turnover means fresh ingredients and a recipe that locals vouch for. An empty restaurant at dinner time is a red flag.
Ice Is Safe
Factory-made tube or cylinder ice (used in virtually all restaurants and stalls) is made from purified water and is safe to consume. You don't need to skip the iced Thai tea.
