Virgin Rooftop Pattaya
Perched above the bustle of Pattaya Road, this rooftop bar and restaurant draws visitors for its elevated views, particularly during sunset hours. The open-air setting creates a relaxed, social atmosphere, and the venue has developed a following among those looking to watch the sunset over a cocktail rather than from street level. The location also makes it a practical spot for catching special events, including Pattaya's International Fireworks Festival, when rooftop positioning offers an unobstructed vantage point. The menu spans both food and drinks, with visitor reviews highlighting lobster pasta and cocktails as standout options, though some guests have noted inconsistency with meat cooking temperatures. Cocktails are noted as well-made but on the stronger side. Staff receive consistent praise for friendliness and attentiveness, which adds to the overall experience. English-language music plays in the background, giving the venue a relaxed international feel that suits the mixed tourist clientele in the area. Good to know: Virgin Rooftop opens daily at 14:00 and closes at 23:00, making it best suited for afternoon drinks, sunset visits, or early evening dining rather than late-night outings. As an open-air rooftop venue, it is weather-dependent, and visitors planning a trip between May and October should factor in Pattaya's rainy season, when sudden downpours are common. Arriving around sunset is recommended to make the most of the views.

Visitor Reviews
The views are beautiful, saw a gorgeous sunset while enjoying our drinks. Food was great, steak was a little overcooked (asked for medium-rare and got medium). Lobster pasta was fantastic. Aoy was a wonderful and helpful server.
Very nice place to eat and drink Staff are very friendly and DOY treating us very well and looking after us until we leave the restarent
First of all, I was impressed by the service of the staff, such as the parking attendant named Khun Chan and the female waitress named Khunying and another one, I can't remember her name, but they both took care of my table on 11 Jan 25 from 9pm to midnight. In terms of the taste of the food, it was delicious, but the amount was too small, which was in contrast to the price that was quite high for this type of rooftop. And in terms of the food menu, there were quite a few choices. In terms of drinks, the price was quite high, such as the price of standard wine starting at 1800฿+ per bottle. Overall, I was impressed with the service, taste of the food, and the atmosphere (except for the music because not my type).

Tips for Visiting Restaurants & Food
Learn the Spice Scale
Say 'mai pet' for no spice, 'pet nit noi' for a little spice, or 'pet mak' if you want it Thai-hot. Most cooks will default to a toned-down version for foreigners unless you specify otherwise.
Follow the Crowds
The busiest street stalls are almost always the best — high turnover means fresh ingredients and a recipe that locals vouch for. An empty restaurant at dinner time is a red flag.
Ice Is Safe
Factory-made tube or cylinder ice (used in virtually all restaurants and stalls) is made from purified water and is safe to consume. You don't need to skip the iced Thai tea.
