Sohotown Pattaya
Sohotown Pattaya is a bustling food court-style venue in the Nong Prue district, drawing a predominantly tourist crowd with its wide selection of individual food stalls serving Asian dishes, fresh seafood, fruit smoothies, and local Thai specialties. Rather than a single kitchen, the format allows visitors to browse multiple stalls and order from different vendors before settling into the shared dining area — a setup that suits groups with varied tastes. Seafood is the centrepiece here, with options including steamed prawns, shrimp sashimi, and a rotating selection of fresh catches cooked to order. Stir-fried vegetables, garlic dishes, and local street food round out the menu. Visitor experiences with the seafood vary — some rate it as very fresh and well-prepared, while others find certain dishes unremarkable — so sticking to the simpler, freshly cooked items appears to be a reliable strategy. Fruit smoothies and fresh mango from the first stall near the entrance come consistently recommended. Good to know: Seating in the shared dining area can fill up quickly, particularly in the evenings, so visitors may need to scout for available tables upon arrival. The venue is open every day from noon until 2 AM, making it a practical option for late-night dining after a night out in Pattaya. Prices are generally considered fair and accessible, though ordering premium seafood items may push the bill higher than expected relative to quality.

Visitor Reviews
It's not worth it to eat seafood here. Expensive and not tasty. I ordered several kinds of seafood, except for the steamed big head shrimp and shrimp sashimi, the others were very ordinary. Especially the salt and pepper shrimp. The shrimp meat was loose and seemed to have been stored for a long time. Razor clams are like eating rubber bands. Moreover, there is no air conditioning when eating here, so you will sweat while eating. But it’s worth mentioning here that the durians here are easy to buy and delicious. Affordable and sweet. If I come back next time, I will only buy fruit from this place and will not eat stale seafood here.
You will regret it, if you passed by and not have eaten here! Very fresh and perfect cooked seafood, the way you prefer. My husband and I had stir fried chayote shoots in oyster sauce, 1 garlic deep fried river tilapia and 2 big king prawns fried with garlic. We paid about 37 euro includiing 2 soda drinks.
Mind blowing choices. They are mainly kitchen fried items. Plenty of seafood dishes to choose from. This seems to be where the visitors come to eat. The locals here are just for the business. Seafood, pork, soup dishes, vegetables

Tips for Visiting Restaurants & Food
Learn the Spice Scale
Say 'mai pet' for no spice, 'pet nit noi' for a little spice, or 'pet mak' if you want it Thai-hot. Most cooks will default to a toned-down version for foreigners unless you specify otherwise.
Follow the Crowds
The busiest street stalls are almost always the best — high turnover means fresh ingredients and a recipe that locals vouch for. An empty restaurant at dinner time is a red flag.
Ice Is Safe
Factory-made tube or cylinder ice (used in virtually all restaurants and stalls) is made from purified water and is safe to consume. You don't need to skip the iced Thai tea.
