Ra Beung Lay Seafood Restaurant ร้านอาหารระเบียงเล ซีฟู้ด
Situated along the shore in Tambon Sai Thai, this well-regarded Thai seafood restaurant draws both locals and visiting travellers with its combination of fresh seafood, sea views, and an extensive menu of authentic Thai dishes. Tables are set up by the water's edge, creating a relaxed beachside atmosphere that feels genuinely local rather than tourist-facing — a quality that visitors consistently highlight. The menu spans a wide range of Thai seafood preparations, with an emphasis on fresh ingredients at fair, mid-range prices. Beyond the food, the restaurant offers nightly fire shows performed by professional entertainers, adding a lively dimension to evening meals. Service receives particular praise, with attentive staff noted for strong English communication and a thoughtful approach to hospitality. The setting, food quality, and entertainment together make for a well-rounded dinner experience rather than a simple meal stop. Good to know: The restaurant is open daily from 11:00 AM to 10:00 PM, making it accessible for both lunch and dinner. Evening sittings are likely to be busier given the popularity of the fire shows, so arriving early for dinner is advisable. Those visiting from Ao Nang should note that this is a short trip into Krabi town, and checking the Facebook page before visiting is recommended for current menu updates or any changes to entertainment schedules.

Visitor Reviews
We just reached Ao nang & wanted to have relaxed evening with dinner. Came up to this awesome beach side restaurant . It has a asea view with tables setup by the shore.Decor was chic and had an extensive sea food menu.We had ordered clamshells, seafood mix plate, prawns and squid. Service was a bit slow but i guess it was the 1st Jan eve but when it arrived all of themwere hitting the taste buds. Also, there was live music going on with the sunset view and around 7 pm they had nice fireshow which was a bonus for us. I guess one of the best dinner experience i had in my life. Will visit here if i am in krabi again😇😇😇😇
Seafood was fresh, pricing also very fair. In fact I ordered abit too much for two pax. Huge bonus was the fire show - the performers were very professional with eye-dazzling fireworks. The duration was very long - deserving to be a standalone paid performance on its own but it was complimentary. I was willing to watch it despite some of my dishes turning cold. The owner Jack was very nice and accommodating. Reserve the place the day before if you want to have good seats.
Probably the best service we had in Thailand. For the first time someone filling our water glasses every time they are half empty... Staff with great English and the food was delicious. We had the deep fried sea bass, caesar's salad and some steamed vegetables, and on top of that 1 and then 2 and then 3 Mohitos 🍹. Not a cheap place, but very classy and good! Apparently, they also do weddings... As we arrived there were preparations, looked amazing.

Learn the Spice Scale
Say 'mai pet' for no spice, 'pet nit noi' for a little spice, or 'pet mak' if you want it Thai-hot. Most cooks will default to a toned-down version for foreigners unless you specify otherwise.
Follow the Crowds
The busiest street stalls are almost always the best — high turnover means fresh ingredients and a recipe that locals vouch for. An empty restaurant at dinner time is a red flag.
Ice Is Safe
Factory-made tube or cylinder ice (used in virtually all restaurants and stalls) is made from purified water and is safe to consume. You don't need to skip the iced Thai tea.
