Glass Beach Restaurant
Nestled in the Sai Thai area of Krabi, this boutique villa property offers a rare combination of beachfront location and private pool accommodations in a setting that consistently earns praise for its tranquility and natural surroundings. Guests have direct access to a quiet beach and are just a short walk from Ao Nam Mao pier, making it a practical base for exploring the broader Krabi region.
The villas are well-maintained and elegantly furnished, with standout features including sea views from the bedroom, private pools, and spacious terraces for relaxing after a day out. The atmosphere leans toward peaceful and intimate rather than resort-scale, appealing to travellers who prefer a quieter, more personal experience. Practical amenities such as a well-equipped kitchen with a microwave add a self-catering dimension that suits longer stays, and guests regularly highlight the consistent quality of in-room facilities.
The on-site team receives particular attention in visitor feedback for being genuinely helpful and accommodating, which adds meaningfully to the overall experience. Given the beachfront setting and boutique nature of the property, booking in advance is advisable, especially during Krabi's peak dry season between November and April when demand for well-located accommodations runs high.

Absolutely perfect stay. The apartment was beautifully furnished and cozy, with a direct view of the sea from the bed. After a day of exploring, we enjoyed swimming in the pool, relaxing on the terrace, the sound of the sea, and a sense of calm. The apartment was impeccably cleaned every day. Excellent coffee was available in the room. The breakfasts were amazing, always including some Thai specialty, as well as eggs prepared three different ways, fruits, vegetables, and desserts. And all of this was provided with the assistance of absolutely wonderful people—the staff, who were always ready to help, whether with organizing boat trips, transfers, etc. If we return to Krabi, we won't hesitate about the accommodation for a second. And one more important note: just a short walk down the beach, you’ll find the absolutely wonderful beachside pub, Joy Beach Thai Food. Fabulous food and, again, incredibly kind people.
One of our favorite stays ever. Incredibly friendly service and beautiful villas with a scenic pool and direct beach access. A few minutes’ walk to both a nice and quiet beach, and the AoNamMao pier for boats to surrounding islands. Perfectly comfortable and peaceful. If we are ever back in southern Thailand, it will be here.
A comfortable stay for a reasonable price. Staff were friendly and helpful. The shower is better than a lot of others I’ve experienced - consistent temperature. Well equipped basic kitchen with a microwave, kettle and coffee machine. There were a lot of ants and small bugs in the villa even when we didn’t have any food left out. 24 hour access to the pool was a big bonus! Breakfast selection small/basic but no complaints. Very quick laundry service for 100b/kg. Location is out of the way for most things but there’s a lovely beach cafe a short walk away. Good location for access to the pier. Nice view of the beach and the pool and loungers were quiet and pleasant. Only one key given even though there were two of us but staff were kind enough to let me into our villa when my partner didn’t make it back as soon as expected.

Tips for Visiting Restaurants & Food
Learn the Spice Scale
Say 'mai pet' for no spice, 'pet nit noi' for a little spice, or 'pet mak' if you want it Thai-hot. Most cooks will default to a toned-down version for foreigners unless you specify otherwise.
Follow the Crowds
The busiest street stalls are almost always the best — high turnover means fresh ingredients and a recipe that locals vouch for. An empty restaurant at dinner time is a red flag.
Ice Is Safe
Factory-made tube or cylinder ice (used in virtually all restaurants and stalls) is made from purified water and is safe to consume. You don't need to skip the iced Thai tea.
