Homlinda Restaurant
Tucked into the Pak Nam area of central Krabi, this well-regarded restaurant draws both locals and travellers with its fresh Thai cooking and relaxed setting. The menu leans into Thai classics and seafood, with dishes like fried seabass in tamarind sauce, soft shell crab, and khao soi standing out among visitor favourites. The kitchen's emphasis on fresh ingredients is a recurring theme in diner feedback, and the food is described as nicely presented alongside generous portions. The restaurant offers two distinct dining environments: an open courtyard and an air-conditioned indoor area, making it a practical choice on hot days. Staff are consistently described as friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere suits casual family dining as well as couples. It is worth noting that while Thai dishes and seafood receive strong praise, Western options such as steak have drawn more mixed responses, so ordering from the Thai menu is likely the safer bet. Homlinda is open seven days a week from 11:00 to 21:00, covering both lunch and dinner service. For those planning ahead, a meal for a group of four runs to approximately 1,600 baht, giving a useful benchmark for budgeting. Arriving during the quieter mid-afternoon window between roughly 2:00 and 4:00 pm can help avoid the busier lunch and dinner rushes, particularly during peak tourist season in Krabi.

Visitor Reviews
Lovely little restaurant with a courtyard, and also an air conditioned indoor area that you can dine in. It was most appreciated on a very hot day! Staff were all really friendly and welcoming. They speak a little English, but the menu is also in English with pictures so ordering is no problem. Everything was really fresh and delicious. My beef curry soup was a little thin, but I did request less spicy so they probably put in less curry paste which is perfectly reasonable. It still tasted good! Everything else was very enjoyable. The raw prawns with seafood sauce is delectable. And I really loved the melinjo leaves stir fried with egg and vermicelli. Smoky, fragrant, and delicious. Absolutely coming here again to try their other offerings!
We are a family that has been traveling from north to south in Thailand for 3 weeks. I can say that this is the most delicious we have ever been to. The food is fresh and incredibly delicious, prepared with understanding. The place is not pretentious, there is a courtyard and a hall with air conditioning. The staff is very smiling. I recommend it with both hands - you will not regret it. I will not even comment on the prices. I am attaching photos of part of the order. Fried sea bass fillet with spicy apple salad and salad with chicken and noodles.
We had a good experience. Fast and attentive service. Food was fresh and tasty, fried seabass in tamarind sauce, soft shell crab and Khao soi were the highlights for use. Just under 1600baht for our meal with 2 large beers each, good value for a nice dinner out of your happy to spend £20+ per head

Learn the Spice Scale
Say 'mai pet' for no spice, 'pet nit noi' for a little spice, or 'pet mak' if you want it Thai-hot. Most cooks will default to a toned-down version for foreigners unless you specify otherwise.
Follow the Crowds
The busiest street stalls are almost always the best — high turnover means fresh ingredients and a recipe that locals vouch for. An empty restaurant at dinner time is a red flag.
Ice Is Safe
Factory-made tube or cylinder ice (used in virtually all restaurants and stalls) is made from purified water and is safe to consume. You don't need to skip the iced Thai tea.
