ร้านอาหารสุกสุขโภชนา Sook Sook Pochana 华欣海鲜餐厅
Tucked along Hua Hin 45 in the heart of Hua Hin town, this well-regarded seafood restaurant draws a loyal crowd with its focus on fresh coastal ingredients and straightforward Thai seafood cooking. The multilingual signage reflects its appeal across Thai, international, and Chinese-speaking diners, and its consistent popularity speaks to a broad and returning clientele. Standout dishes mentioned by visitors include the grilled river prawns, celebrated for their juiciness and freshness, and the softshell crab with chilli garlic, which receives particular praise. The atmosphere is described as cozy and clean, with attentive service that suits both family meals and casual dining. The setting is unfussy rather than formal, with the focus placed squarely on the food. Some visitors note that certain dishes lean sweet or that expectations set by social media buzz can occasionally outpace the experience, so arriving with an open and curious palate tends to yield the most enjoyment. The grilled prawn and signature seafood preparations are generally considered the safest and most rewarding choices. Good to know: the restaurant opens at 10:30 AM daily, with extended closing hours on Saturdays and Sundays until 10 PM, compared to 9 PM on weekdays. This makes weekend evenings a natural fit for a leisurely seafood dinner. Visiting during early lunch or mid-afternoon helps avoid the busiest periods. The restaurant's website at sooksookpochana.com is worth checking before visiting for current menu details.

Visitor Reviews
Food is good but a menu like grilled prawn is still not wow. It lacks the sweetness of the prawn like when u clean the prawn in clean water before cooking it. Otherwise, everything is good!!
The tase is amazing. Worth every single dish. Grilled river prawn so amazing juicy and fresh. Really good atmosphere - cozy and clean. Staff is very professional.
The food was okay, though not entirely to my taste. A few dishes were slightly on the sweet side. I admire the attempt to create something distinctive, but some flavor combinations didn’t quite land for me. Though the lod chong in coconut milk was absolutely delicious! Nice atmosphere and seatings, suitable for a group or family.

Learn the Spice Scale
Say 'mai pet' for no spice, 'pet nit noi' for a little spice, or 'pet mak' if you want it Thai-hot. Most cooks will default to a toned-down version for foreigners unless you specify otherwise.
Follow the Crowds
The busiest street stalls are almost always the best — high turnover means fresh ingredients and a recipe that locals vouch for. An empty restaurant at dinner time is a red flag.
Ice Is Safe
Factory-made tube or cylinder ice (used in virtually all restaurants and stalls) is made from purified water and is safe to consume. You don't need to skip the iced Thai tea.
