ME - Kitchen and bar
Tucked away at the end of a quiet soi in the Tha Ma Kham area, this fusion kitchen and bar sits right on the river, offering views across to the opposite bank that visitors consistently highlight as a standout feature. The combination of indoor and outdoor seating, a relaxed ambience, and mid-range pricing makes it a popular stop for travellers looking to unwind after a day exploring Kanchanaburi. The menu leans toward fusion cooking, with dishes that blend familiar and inventive flavours. Reviewers have praised individual plates — including a stir-fried spaghetti dish — though opinions on the food vary, with some finding it excellent and others noting it does not always meet expectations. As both a restaurant and bar, it suits a range of visits: a leisurely meal, afternoon drinks, or a longer evening sitting by the water. Good to know: ME - Kitchen and bar is closed on Mondays, so plan accordingly. On weekdays it opens from 15:00, making it better suited for late afternoons and evenings; on weekends it opens at 11:00, which works well for an earlier visit. The venue is a little off the main road and can be tricky to find, but parking is available on site. Driving or arranging private transport is the most practical way to reach it.

Visitor Reviews
A very nice and idyllically located restaurant right on the well-known river, with ample parking. A bit hidden and located at the end of a narrowing street but don't worry you will find it. You can comfortably choose between seats outside in the shade in the evening sun or indoors with air conditioning. The staff is fast and friendly, the choice of food is varied and documented with very good photo, the drinks and the food were delicious. The prices may seem a bit high at first, but the quality and quantity definitely make up for the price you have to try. The price-performance ratio is right here ❣️ A very idyllic place with peace and relaxation. I can definitely recommend this restaurant to you if you are nearby.
Nice restaurant located not far from the city but easily ti reach if you drive. Service is nice. The staff is ready to help you around there. For dishes, I think it is okay. Some dishes are nice (Pizza, fritters) However, the pasta seemed pretty bland without seasoning. Will probably visit again once got a chance to be in Ban Hua Hin area :)
Amazing! If you are looking for not only a good atmosphere but also a delicious food than this place is for you! They have outdoor and indoor seating. We ordered “Myendong” dish, stir-fried spaghetti with bacon and pasta/soup “Seoul” which is huge, everything was delicious!

Learn the Spice Scale
Say 'mai pet' for no spice, 'pet nit noi' for a little spice, or 'pet mak' if you want it Thai-hot. Most cooks will default to a toned-down version for foreigners unless you specify otherwise.
Follow the Crowds
The busiest street stalls are almost always the best — high turnover means fresh ingredients and a recipe that locals vouch for. An empty restaurant at dinner time is a red flag.
Ice Is Safe
Factory-made tube or cylinder ice (used in virtually all restaurants and stalls) is made from purified water and is safe to consume. You don't need to skip the iced Thai tea.
