Sansabai Massage 2
If you've spent the day on a boat to Phi Phi and your shoulders are paying for it, this is the kind of place worth walking to. The space on Thanon Talang is big and kept properly clean, with showers available, and the treatment list runs well past the usual: traditional Thai, warm coconut oil, aroma, aloe, foot, shoulder and head, plus body scrubs and facials. Reviewers regularly book the longer combinations, two and a half hours of scrub, aroma massage and facial being one popular route.
What people keep coming back to is the therapists. The recurring praise is for pressure that gets adjusted to your body rather than applied by rote, and for staff who will work with a specific request, palms and fingers instead of elbows, say. Names come up again and again in reviews: Nin, Wut, Su, Nut. If someone's technique suits you, remember the name and ask for them next time.

Reviews from Google
We went to Sansabai after spending all day on the boat trip to phi phi islands. From the moment we walked in till the end, all the staffs were so professional and polite. We chose to have 2.5 hours body scrub, aroma massage and facial. My therapist was called NIN. It went in a second…..it was the best massage and service I ever had. She was sooo sweet and professional. She took away all my pains and aches which was much needed after a long time. Thank you NIN and other staffs. I will always recommend you guys to my friends and family. :) x
A great spa!! My masseur was Wut. He was amazing. His hands and arms make magic. He was really attentive to the reactions of my body and knew exactly what to do. I felt so relieved of all my pains afterwards! The effect was immediate. I really enjoyed the environment, too. The aromas, the music, the tea. Thank you, Wut!!!!
My master Su felt what muscles she needs to work on, a magician. I asked Traditional Thai massage done with the pressure from palms and fingers, not with elbows and she did so. It was fantastic.

Tips for Visiting Wellness & Spas
Learn Wat Pho First
Wat Pho in Bangkok is the birthplace of traditional Thai massage education. Their on-site massage pavilion offers excellent treatments from students and graduates at reasonable prices — and you know the technique is authentic.
Communicate Pressure Preferences
Thai massage can be intense. Say 'bao bao' for lighter pressure or 'nак nак' for harder. A good therapist will check in, but don't hesitate to speak up — suffering in silence defeats the purpose.
Book Longer Sessions
A 60-minute massage is fine, but 90 or 120 minutes allows the therapist to work thoroughly. The price difference is often only 200–400 THB for an extra hour — worth it for a deeper, more relaxing experience.
