VOODOO Pattaya
Tucked away on Soi Bua Khao in central Pattaya, VOODOO is a bar and pub that has built a loyal following among regulars who appreciate its relaxed, sociable vibe. The venue draws visitors looking for cold beers, stronger-than-average drinks, and an easygoing crowd, with a party-first atmosphere that keeps people staying longer than planned. New Year and other festive nights are particularly popular, with guests describing a buzzing atmosphere that suits a wide range of ages. The bar is noted for its cleanliness and friendly service, with staff members who make an effort to connect with guests. The owners are known to be hands-on and approachable, and the music can reportedly be adjusted on request, which is a small but appreciated touch for those who want the evening to feel more personal. Drinks are described as averaging standard Pattaya bar prices, though pours tend to be on the generous side. As with many bars in this part of Pattaya, experiences can vary depending on the night and the crowd, so dropping in earlier in the evening can be a good way to get a feel for the place before it fills up. No website or listed opening hours are currently available, so first-time visitors may want to check locally for current details before making a special trip.

Visitor Reviews
Great owners, got to meet both of them during our visit. If you don't like the music, ask to change it. Drinks where average price, but a bit stronger than any of the other places we visited. Staff was helpful, not pushy. We just ran out of time before we could return.
Had a great New Year party here, great atmosphere, cold beer friendly girls, went in for a couple of beers and didn't want to leave, the concept here is to party and have fun for all ages will definitely return. Thanks Sam that's a great bar

Tips for Visiting Nightlife & Bars
Carry Your Passport or a Copy
Clubs and some bars check IDs strictly, especially in Bangkok's Thonglor, RCA, and Sukhumvit areas. A photo of your passport info page on your phone usually works, but carrying a laminated photocopy is safer.
Know the Closing Times
Legal closing time is 2 AM for most venues, though enforcement varies. In Bangkok's designated entertainment zones (RCA, Silom Soi 2/4, Khao San), some clubs stay open until 4 AM. Islands tend to be more relaxed about hours.
Buy Bucket Drinks Cautiously
Island bucket drinks (mixed spirits in a small bucket) are cheap and fun but notoriously strong and inconsistent. Stick to one, stay hydrated, and never leave your drink unattended at beach parties.
