The Panama Club
One of the few genuine dance venues in Hua Hin, The Panama Club stands out in a town where nightlife options are relatively limited. Recently refurbished, it features an excellent sound system, a light show with an LED-illuminated dancefloor, and a consistent program of live singers performing pop hits alongside DJ sets. It draws a mixed crowd of locals and visitors looking for a proper night out in this coastal resort town. The venue has a lively but manageable atmosphere, with security staff on hand and a small dancefloor at the back of the bar. Drinks are mid-range in price, and the selection is solid, though visitors should note that only small beers are typically available, which appears to be common across the area. Staff are generally described as pleasant and attentive. Good to know: The Panama Club opens at 5pm every day and runs until 1am, but the real action gets going later in the evening, with the live band typically starting around 9pm and the DJ taking over from there. Arriving earlier offers a quieter, more relaxed experience before the dancefloor fills up. Casual dress suits the beach town setting. For the smoothest service, keeping track of your order and the staff member serving you can help avoid any confusion during busier periods.

Visitor Reviews
Good entertainment bar with DJ and live music with a good singer, doing pop hits. Pleasent serving staff. Good drink selection with only small beers available which seems to be the norm in the area.
Greeting once again to all who read my reviews, I hope you're enjoying them and perhaps making time to visit some of the places I've also been. The Panama Club, last week was my first time here and we went as a group of 9. A friend has previously reserved one of the tables that you stand at, but also had high stools too, just in case you needed a sit down and save your knees from aching!!. I'd only been in the place 10 mins and what I didn't expect to see was a "Runble", commonly referred to as a fight, and it was only 10pm!!. It was between a woman and a guy, both foreigners sad to say, but the security guys immediately stepped in and both were unceremoniously kicked out. The 3 piece group with a female singer who's voice was very good were excellent. A thing I liked also was that we could write down requests of songs for them to percorm, but mine of 'Relax' by Frankie Goes To Hollywood didn't make the cut, no matter. The band had the crowd singing and dancing for the 1.5 hrs I was there, and all in all a good place for some "Live" music. I don't know when this particular band play here, but a walk through Bintabaht and you're bound to find other venues that also have live music, so you won't be spoiled for choice. I would recommend if you are in a group, maybe reserve a table 1 or 2 days before, just as insurance so you don't have to stand all the time. For those of you who do go, let me know how it went, did you enjoy it, was it OK, or not to your liking.. 😊
One of only a few dance venues in Hua Hin. Recently refurbished. Excellent sound system and awesome light show. Dance floor is small and illuminated with LEDs. Live band plays from 2100 with a DJ from 2300. Both very professional. Drinks service is good and prices reasonable. No entrance fee.

Tips for Visiting Nightlife & Bars
Carry Your Passport or a Copy
Clubs and some bars check IDs strictly, especially in Bangkok's Thonglor, RCA, and Sukhumvit areas. A photo of your passport info page on your phone usually works, but carrying a laminated photocopy is safer.
Know the Closing Times
Legal closing time is 2 AM for most venues, though enforcement varies. In Bangkok's designated entertainment zones (RCA, Silom Soi 2/4, Khao San), some clubs stay open until 4 AM. Islands tend to be more relaxed about hours.
Buy Bucket Drinks Cautiously
Island bucket drinks (mixed spirits in a small bucket) are cheap and fun but notoriously strong and inconsistent. Stick to one, stay hydrated, and never leave your drink unattended at beach parties.
