Phuangpen villa Hotel
Compare prices
Puangpen Villa Hotel is a no-frills lodging option in Hua Hin that earns consistent praise for one standout quality: its location. Situated just minutes from Hua Hin Beach, guests can walk to the sand, sea, beachside food stalls, massage vendors, and horseback riding in under five minutes. The surrounding streets are lined with restaurants and bars, making it a convenient base for exploring the town on foot. Rooms are described by guests as spacious and comfortable, with some featuring balconies. While the decor leans toward the dated side, cleanliness is a recurring highlight, as are the comfortable beds and strong hot water pressure. An outdoor pool adds a practical amenity for days spent closer to the hotel. Office staff receive positive mentions for being friendly and helpful. A few practical details worth noting: some guests have flagged minor maintenance issues such as tap fittings, and the hotel does not appear to provide in-room kettles, which may matter for travellers who rely on tea or coffee in the mornings. There are no sea views from the rooms, though the proximity to the beach means little time is spent indoors anyway. The hotel suits budget-conscious and mid-range travellers looking for a clean, centrally located place to sleep in Hua Hin rather than a resort-style experience. Checking the hotel's website directly for room types and current rates is advisable before booking.

Visitor Reviews
Stayed for 2 weeks in August 2025. Very clean, large room with a balcony. Great location. Minutes from the beach. So many restaurants and bars nearby. No view from the room but really didn't need one as was out playing golf most of the time. Had a great pool for cooling off after golf. Superb value for the price.
Enjoyed our stay there. Very close to the beach. Sink tap was a bit problematic, but otherwise the room was very nice and comfortable.
Location perfect with good size swimming pool. Rooms dated but very clean and comfortable. Shower excellent really strong and hot water. One complaint no kettle in room for tea or coffee. This is surely prerequisite for today's hotels. Gave 4 star due to location and car parking.
