Let's Sea Hostel
Tucked into the heart of Ao Nang, Let's Sea Hostel is a well-regarded budget accommodation option in Krabi, popular with travellers looking for comfort, cleanliness, and genuine hospitality without breaking the bank. The hostel is consistently praised for its friendly owners — particularly Yuye — who go out of their way to assist guests with local tips, directions, and travel planning, giving the place a welcoming, community feel that sets it apart from larger, more impersonal properties. Rooms are clean and well-maintained, and the hostel provides practical amenities including toiletries, towels, shampoo, soap, and strong Wi-Fi. On-site laundry facilities with a washing machine and dryer are a notable convenience for longer-stay travellers. The atmosphere is relaxed and quiet, making it a solid choice for solo travellers or those who want a comfortable base without the noise of a party hostel. One guest noted some mould on a ceiling, so those with sensitivities may want to enquire ahead. The location works well for everyday needs, with a 7-Eleven, food shops, and restaurants all within easy walking distance. As a small, independently run hostel with a growing reputation, rooms may fill quickly during Krabi's high season between November and April. Booking in advance through the hostel's Facebook page is recommended, and reaching out directly can also be a good way to ask about current room availability and rates.

Visitor Reviews
One of the best stays I had so far in Thailand! I don’t know what to say, the friendliest staff you’ve seen, comfortable rooms, clean and a cool atmosphere. They have a washing machine and dryer (or clothing racks to hang for drying if you don’t like dryers) you can use for free, a shared open kitchen and shared bathrooms. If you don’t mind shared bathrooms (never had to wait as there are multiple and cleaned everyday), then you definitely have to come here if you’re staying in Ao Nang. Will be coming again, if I’m going to stay in Ao Nang!
The rooms are good for a budget stay, with clean and well-maintained facilities. The owners are extremely kind and polite ❤️. Location-wise, everything is nearby—7-Eleven, food shops, and many Indian restaurants. Ao Nang Beach is just 1.5 km away and easily walkable. Additionally, taxi service to Krabi International Airport is available for 150 THB per person, and transport to the Krabi bus terminal costs 60 THB per person.
I was lucky enough to stay at this hostel for a few days. Yuye, the owner, is kind and sweet, always there to help you with whatever you need. The beds are very comfortable and the hostel is clean. There's free laundry. Several showers so you never have to wait. Thank you very much.
Tips for Visiting Hotels & Resorts
Book Shoulder Season
May–June and September–October offer dramatic discounts (30–50% off peak rates) with fewer crowds. Weather is mixed but rarely a washout — afternoon showers clear quickly.
Compare OTAs and Direct Rates
Always check the hotel's own website after finding a rate on Agoda or Booking.com. Many Thai properties offer a best-rate guarantee or throw in perks like free breakfast when you book direct.
Pool Villa Doesn't Mean Expensive
Private pool villas in Krabi, Hua Hin, and Chiang Mai start around 2,500–4,000 THB/night — a fraction of Bali or Maldives prices. Search specifically for 'pool villa' to surface hidden gems.
