Tucked into the heart of Ao Nang, Let's Sea Hostel is a well-regarded budget accommodation option in Krabi, popular with travellers looking for comfort, cleanliness, and genuine hospitality without breaking the bank. The hostel is consistently praised for its friendly owners — particularly Yuye — who go out of their way to assist guests with local tips, directions, and travel planning, giving the place a welcoming, community feel that sets it apart from larger, more impersonal properties.
Rooms are clean and well-maintained, and the hostel provides practical amenities including toiletries, towels, shampoo, soap, and strong Wi-Fi. On-site laundry facilities with a washing machine and dryer are a notable convenience for longer-stay travellers. The atmosphere is relaxed and quiet, making it a solid choice for solo travellers or those who want a comfortable base without the noise of a party hostel. One guest noted some mould on a ceiling, so those with sensitivities may want to enquire ahead.
The location works well for everyday needs, with a 7-Eleven, food shops, and restaurants all within easy walking distance. As a small, independently run hostel with a growing reputation, rooms may fill quickly during Krabi's high season between November and April. Booking in advance through the hostel's Facebook page is recommended, and reaching out directly can also be a good way to ask about current room availability and rates.

One of the best stays I had so far in Thailand! I don’t know what to say, the friendliest staff you’ve seen, comfortable rooms, clean and a cool atmosphere. They have a washing machine and dryer (or clothing racks to hang for drying if you don’t like dryers) you can use for free, a shared open kitchen and shared bathrooms. If you don’t mind shared bathrooms (never had to wait as there are multiple and cleaned everyday), then you definitely have to come here if you’re staying in Ao Nang. Will be coming again, if I’m going to stay in Ao Nang!
I was lucky enough to stay at this hostel for a few days. Yuye, the owner, is kind and sweet, always there to help you with whatever you need. The beds are very comfortable and the hostel is clean. There's free laundry. Several showers so you never have to wait. Thank you very much.
Great accomodation though the ceiling was mouldy. Enjoyed the stay with great hosts. Location was ok too and place was quiet toiletries were provided (towels, shampoo, soap). wifi was great too
