NOMAD Hostel Krabi
Situated on Krabi Road in the Pak Nam area of Muang Krabi, NOMAD Hostel is a budget-friendly lodging option that draws travellers looking for a clean, comfortable base from which to explore the Krabi region. The hostel operates around the clock, making it convenient for guests arriving or departing at irregular hours. The standout features here are the well-maintained dorm rooms, which come equipped with individual privacy curtains, personal lighting, and power outlets at each bed — details that experienced hostel travellers tend to appreciate. Bathrooms are separated from shower areas, and free towels are provided, which is a practical touch not always found at this price point. The reception area doubles as a relaxed communal space where guests can share a coffee or conversation, and the overall cleanliness of the property is consistently noted by visitors. It is worth being aware, however, that some guests have found rooms affected by street noise from the surrounding road, so light sleepers may want to bring earplugs or request a quieter room. NOMAD Hostel suits solo travellers and backpackers who prioritise value and cleanliness over a lively party atmosphere. Given its location in Krabi town rather than on the beach, it works well as a convenient hub for day trips to Railay Beach, the Phi Phi Islands, and other nearby attractions. Booking in advance is advisable during the high season, which runs roughly from November through April.

Visitor Reviews
Pessonally, I had a great time in Krabi and I’m sure it wouldn’t be so if I wouldn’t stay in Nomad Hostel. Big and quaint reception, just perfect to have a coffee in the morning, a nice talking or just chill out. Spacious rooms and very comfortable beds with curtains, is great to have privacy in a shared room. Showers super clean and hot water all the time. The family that runs it is incredible lovely and amazingly helpful. Jay, the daughter, speaks fluent English so you won’t have any difficulties with the communication. Since is a family business, it gives you the warmness of home that you miss when you’re traveling. For sure I’ll be back to Nomad anytime I’m back in Krabi.
When a service is good, a review is more than deserved. I would definitely recommend staying here, the price/quality ratio is abysmally good. From the beginning you find a clean place, the staff really nice and helpful, a very comfortable bed, individual and clean bathrooms, air conditioning and fan. They provide towel, shampoo and body soap. The location although a bit far from the night markets (15 min walk), they have some small shops around as well as a 7eleven. I would definitely stay there again. Thank you for the warm welcome.
This hostel is nice and clean. The beds have privacy curtains which are always a plus and they provide a towel to you free of charge. Each dorm room has a shared bathroom which was nice and clean. The only reason I give four stars is that I had some minor difficulty communicating with the staff when I asked about laundry services and where I could catch a bus to Ao Nang, but I was still able to get my laundry done. The laundry is done by weight and they charge 60 baht per kg to wash, dry and fold your clothes for you which is a good rate. I also tried to inform them that there was a puddle of water on the floor under the sink in the bathroom due to a leak and the lady clearly didn't understand what I was trying to explain to her and she just smiled and waved me on. Even with the minor difficulties communicating I still had an enjoyable stay here.
